Location was good

Dirty. Everything is dirty! Dirty bed with spots, dirty floor, dirty everything!The stuff say "ok" to everything and do nothing.The price is extra high for such accommodation

The only thing that matters about this accommodation is the location, down the stairs and right next to the rite. the rest is completely incomplete!The terrace is a plus, with a direct view of the Ganges River!

Dirt. completely untidy rooms, you need a brigade there!the most disturbing thing is the dirty bed linen, specifically someone's footprint was on the blanket.

The majestic view of river ganga from room and terrace. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. The food was amazing.

No frills, basic room steps away from the river. The location can’t be beat!

The place is very shoddy and is not value for money

Floor, bed, washroom were unclean. Bedsheets were stained. There was hair on bed and seemed like someone used it prior. There was no ventilation in the room and there were mosquitoes

The kindness and helpfulness of Ritik Kumar and Kailash, two young smiling and friendly guys. The terrace on the ghat had a wonderful view. The food consumed on the terrace was also excellent.

The structure is hidden in some alleys from which, if you don't know, you don't know how to get out. The quality-price ratio is to forget, probably they doubled because of the celebration of those days. In fact, for that amount, I expected much more. I think it is still under construction because the second and third floors were unused with the workers.

The location and how quiet the surrounding area was

We stayed af the hotel for 6 nights. The owner was extremely professional and welcoming. The rooms are extremely small as compared to normal hotel rooms cause it's situated in the ghat area. Hot water was a issue as individual geyser not available in the room. Major issue during cold season. Sometime the water is extremely Luke warm dosent serve the purpose. Construction work is under progress above 1st floor due to expansion of the hotel. Can create a problem at times.Hotel is located in a very quiet location and within walking distance to the market area. Overall a good experience for a first time visit at banaras.

Very disappointed.

The room we booked was overpriced and the food quality is very bad. The location of the room is horrible and very difficult to reach the location as one has to go through the narrow gaali and no way to take an auto or car up to the hotel. The hotel is near the Harishchandraghat. One of the burial ghats. The smells come through the window during the daytime. The worst part is the owner is not a reliable guy. Pls avoid booking any taxi or boat ride through the hotel. They all tied up and extracted money from you. We had a horrible experience. We took a boat ride through the hotel and they charged us 750 people and no Arti darshan we ended up roaming around in the river Ganga where whereas others were all busy witnessing Ganga Arti in the evening. We also book a taxi to Sarnath. The taxi driver left us at Sarnath and he returned empty as he claimed to be late to pick up another client. However, we booked up to 1 PM. The hotel owner and taxi all together started calling us and haressed to hurry up otherwise they would charge extra money if we were late from the given time. They didn't allow us to go through the museum properly. The driver took us to the wrong temple due to having to pass us to te guide waiting over there. Altogether, it is very sad that Varanasi is such a holy place in India but Hotel Wala, Auto Wala and Boatwala are horrible and they try to extract the money by various means from the devotees who had to visit to dip into the Holy Ganga and Kashi Vishwanath Darshan. Pls, avoid Hotel Shanti IN. It is not worth it. They will cheat you.

The breakfast was good and was served hot. And the staff were really good and helpful! Appreciated the help offered by them.

Location near ghat is good. Staff is good helping people . Rooms are clean . Rates are reasonable.

Hot water geyser is not working. Approach road is very narrow you can reach by walking about 300 meter

Entrance, size of the rooms, lack of common space/lounge other than the roof. Was contacted earlier to pay the amount rather than on arrival despite credit card being verified.

The hotel is good, has good facilities and spacious room. It has a rooftop open cafe overlooking the ghat which is a good addition and has a nice vibe to it. Food is okay as well.

Even the location is great per se, the approach to the location is not that great. No car parking available. And the access to the hotel is through small lanes with no access for cars. Although the distance is not too much to the hotel, however, it may be a long stretch for those who have difficulty in walking.

Good location close to the river. Nice roof top terrace with good value cafe. Helpful staff.

Hotel is very noisy making it hard to sleep at times. Photos don't reflect the rooms accurately. The cleanliness of the rooms and the upkeep could be much better.

The room had no ventilation. Too strong room Freshner was sprayed to hide oudurs. Was very suffocating. Saw cockroaches moving around.

Hospitality. Friendly and courteous staff. Food at the top floor is great but takes a considerable amount of time. If you are in a hurry, avoid eating at this cafe, instead find some place outside. Rooms are good and the bathrooms are clean.

They keep turning off AC from outside when you leave the room. So, when you come to room and need it, you will have to go to the reception area and ask them to turn it back on. The alleys leading to the hotel from the main road are pretty stinky, hence I recommend carrying a mask or a perfumed napkin.

Excellent location, clean rooms , courteous staff . Owner helped a lot in exploring Kashi.

Housekeeping should be improved.
