Hotel Sita " Where Every Stay Tells The Story Of Kashi"

As travelling alone as a lady hotel sita is the best and safe place to stay as I feel very safe and comfortable to stay here .As people of hotel sita are really friendly and helpful .Mr vishu who is really very supportive and is very informative about kashi he has lot and lot of knowledge about varanasi .I would definitely recommend everyone who are travelling to varanasi and want to fell varanasi as real banarasi should come and stay with sita family and fell the vibe of kashi .Will recommend everyone to come and stay Best ,??????

Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Location is right on the Ganges river.

Cleanliness is bad and shower is not running good. We had to change our room for that and insects bit me when I woke up. Just the same with our new room but a little bit better.

The hotel location is wonderful with beautiful sights to the ghats.

It’s a very old hotel that lacks proper maintenance. The rooms are dusty and not clean, and at times there’s no running water. I even had to move to another hotel (and, of course, they didn’t refund my money). There are also insects in the rooms. Definitely not recommended.

This is one of the best properties if you want to stay at the ghats. But you have to adjust to the size of the room, cleanliness and amenities. It is not comparable to a 3/4 star property but pretty decent.

Fantastic location just next to the historical part. Staff is very helpful and kind.

Room was small and very old. Comparing the price vs Indian standard this was not great value. You pay for the location not the room quality

Hotel is extremely dirty.Even the dustbin is broken in the room.Bulbs are fused.Extremely poor condition of every item in the room.Restaurant does not have even basic courtesy to glass with bottle of water with dinner.Complete waste of money

Best location on the ghats. We had a great balcony overlooking the Ganges with fantastic views up and down the ghats. Excellent rooftop restaurant with very reasonable prices.

Greta location if you are coming for kashi temple or see the aartii on the ghat Ghat - 4 mins walk - can be seen from the terrace (atkest the crowd)Kashi - 12 mins walk gate no 4

That you had to lug your suitcase a good 12 mins to get to the hotel.

Location is great. Right on the ghat. Few minutes walk to Vishwanath temple express corridor.The room had a view of the ghat.The hotel manager arranged for our bags to be taken to a place where we could get an auto and he also arranged for a taxi.Very helpful, kind and honest people.

Can't think of any such thing as what was not good.

Staff members looked at us with suspicion.The room was very basic with low quality furniture. AC remote worked intermittently. For the price I paid, it felt like a ripoff.I don’t mind the hotel staff trying to take you to nearby shops and boat rides and they get commission on that, but unfortunately they would fight over who contacted you first. Also note you will have to walk 10-12mins from main road to reach the hotel as the alleys are too narrow for rickshaw.

Worst hotel and fraud working of Booking.com

It was one of the worst stay of my life.Too dirty room, ? including bathroom. I booked a different room at the time of booking and given smthing very bad at arrival ?

Only the location was good.

The entire fact that they showed a different type of room category ok booking.com and when we checked in the staff gave us different category of rooms. On top of this the staff was arguing with us that it is booking.com who is not allowing them to upload photos of different category of rooms and hence they are helpless which we find completely absurd. Linens were dirty and bathrooms were rok messy. The one which we stayed at the bathroom door was all rusted, the toilet seat cover came out .

Just the fact that it is right on the ghat.

Everything about the property sucks. The AC had Lizards coming out of it. The toilet seats were stained. The linen was dirty. We had to change 3 rooms to finally get a liveable room.

The hotel manager couldn't door enough for me to ensure I had a great stay. Room were adequate with a great balcony over looking the Ganges, could've not got a better location. Roof top restaurant, have excellent views which spanned on for miles.Good choice of breakfast both Indian and European.Sanjay the tour guide showed me all around on a walking tour and I felt completely safe. He introduced me to the delicious Baba lassi, which is a must when visiting He also organised a boat trip for me and my return transportation to the airport. You couldn't asked for a better guide.thank you.Vishnal, helped me source a sari as I attended the owners son's wedding. He ensured it was within my budget and that it looked perfect. In summary, amazing location, clean bedding, comfortable beds, good food, great shower but above all else the staff were amazing and went above and beyond.I now have some new friends.

Due to location being right on the Ganges, the last two kilometres have to be walked. Not a problem but maybe a member of hotel staff could meet the guest at a set location and guide them to the hotel.

Very dirty rooms, dirty toilets, dirty bedsheets, dirty blankets.

The location is very nice. Close to the Dashashwamedh ghat with nice unobstructed view of the Ganges. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The food was decent.

The hotel management said that it is a few mins walk from the nearest drop-off point but in reality it is a good 10 - 15 mins walk. If you have luggage then it may take longer. The rooms were not very clean and there were a lots of bugs and moths, which became troublesome when having dinner in the rooftop restaurant.

The staff were amenable and friendly and even helped me late at night to procure medicine and doctor's help when I suddenly fell ill at the hotel. They helped us with all the necessities for my quick recovery.

The property is approx 500m from the main road and not friendly for elderly travellers since one would have to carry their own luggage through unmarked narrow alley ways and steep stairs. There was no wifi or minibar; the balcony was unusable due to construction work being done during the stay, there were debris on the balcony throughout our stay without it being cleaned even once. The construction workers would hover around the balcony the entire time which didn't allow us to open the curtains to enjoy the amazing view the room offered. The window glass on the other side of the room was unclean as well preventing the view. The bathtub was in no condition to be used with clumps of hair visible near the drain. There was only one option per day for breakfast - No fruits, or continental options available. The room condition was poor and unhygienic overall - definitely not worth 15000/- rupees per night! The room refreshments like tea / coffee and water were never refilled. Room was cleaned once during our 4 day stay. Pictures of property on Booking.com do NOT match reality of the place.

The hotel is just by the River with good view from the window. Location at old town the heart of city. Walkable to many tourist places. Staffs are very friendly and helpful.

Long walk from main road and may lost in many small lanes. Remember contact staff before hand for help especially if you with luggages.
