A Palace on River Rashmi Guest House

Nothing: I checked out in 2 hours as there was thundering loud construction going on and the carpet was torn. Besides, the room was smelly and dirty.

I request a full refund as this hotel is sub-standard with inhabitable conditions. No hot water for shower, dirty windows, smelly room & dusty Closet, Very loud continuous construction noise. checked out of hotel in 2 hours

Location was great. The connecting restaurant Dolphin was very good.

It was very run down although they try to keep it clean. The taxi to the airport was too expensive.

Friendly and helpfull staff, comfortable room, tasty food, incredible views from the 3rd floor and rooftop.

The location was amazing! There was quite a walk through winding, narrow streets to access the hotel but all was worth it. Our room had a full view of everything happening on the Ganges. The room was a good size with most facilities available. Sanjeev, the owner, was very helpful, particularly when I needed medical advice. They also arranged staff or taxis to meet us when we needed them. The Dolphin Restaurant next door

It was beyond expectations. The location and view was out of the world. It was very clean and well maintained. Each and everyone of the staffs were very warm, welcoming, friendly, and polite. The services were on time and the food was high quality as well as great on taste with superb portions.

The Staff is incredibly friendly, helpful and hospitable. Sanjiv and Feijan are wonderful hosts that helped us out so much during our stay. We will be back!

Location wise good but bad behaviour from hotel management

The owner and the staff refused to provide room for the next day and shown rude behaviour to us and one our friend who came to meet us in front of the hotel. The owner stated that he doesn’t like us standing in front of the hotel (outside)and speaking and he tried to bully my friend. These guys doesn’t even know what is customer delightment.

Bathroom was not hygienic, there were a lot of mosquitoes in the bathroom

worst service and staff. geyser was not working even in super delux room. we paid advance for taxi to tue airport but driver did not arrived and aaked us to walk us with luggage for 2 KM with senior citizens and kids.Towel was not provided.phones where not operating.our che-in time was 1 and we arrived at 2PM still room was not ready and asked us to wait.Staff is very rude.

The location bank of The Ganges it was awesome

The room is not sound free that shown is the booking time the next room traveler create a lot of problem and abusive word The breakfast is included in this booking but didn’t receive any breakfast or water bottle Also not receive any blower ,no tv playing , no wifi service working We checked out the before one day left of booking but paid full bill for 3 days

Not Satisfactory. Poor arrangement. Dirty linens. Just the location is good. Maintenance nothing. After COVID no maintenance done actually.

The very first thing is the interior of the room was very bad - wallpapers of the wall was falling aprat from the wall.room was totally dark at the day time.the floor was very dirty and there is many more.The cost of the room was too high as per the quality.shame on booking.com.This was the first time i have used booking.com service the experience is very bad..Shame on booking.com.Not recommended at all

Location was good

The person on the main desk was not much bothered. He was not helpful at all. The rooms were dusty and dirty. It was a tiny room for the money we paid. No room service facility. Not a good experience

Location excellent for Kashi Vishwanath temple pilgrims. Ghats are just few steps away

Rooms are not as shown in pictures. Beds provided without changing bed sheets and covers. All dirt were visible. they promised to clean and change bed sheets several times but never did.

The hotel room - the a/c was not working, which made the stay uncomfortable. It was not fixed inspite of multiple reminders. Checkin took a while, reasons not know. Checkout also took a while as the staff insisted for Gpay, while I wanted to pay by card, and the card machine was not working.

Cheating by the hotel Rashmi Guest House, varanasi

The booked rooms was not given to us. Some shoddy room was given. I wish to file a complaint and need refund. I am also going file a police compliant against the hotel for cheating and keeping my family in inhuman condition. It was our 1st travel post covid. Loved that the hotel was well kept, the staff are courteous and friendly. Its a few steps away from the Ganges so could go to the daily Ganga Aarti. the dolphin restaurant has the best food and views in Varanasi.

Location

Gave away my rooms to others to get more money despite the fact that I had booked them a month in advance. And gave me one room for Rs. 5800 instead of booked two rooms for Rs 2200 per room for me and my family. They didn't gave any breakfast as charged and agreed to any of the occupants as they had booked for one party. Very greedy people.A total disaster if you go to there hotel.

River view

Very filthy hotel and hygiene not maintained. Though the view is good, however, the charm is lost due to poor maintenance of hotel. One of Electrical board in the room was hanging with major electrical hazard.As the breakfast was included in the package, hotel was serving food bringing from street hawker. Restaurant had nice view of river Ganges.Absolutely no to future stay in this hotel.
