The staff is very attentive and connected to ancillary travel needs. The value is outstanding! 'Hotel employee is superb! Hoel employee in the restaurant impressed me with his abilities to recall orders; which permitted us to quickly catch our flight.

The geyser/water heater did not produce hot water.

Location and the Driver excellent Driver who takes me to Bohn Gaya was safe... trip and the roads are very bad but I'm home safe! TQVM

Money face after staying for three nights was backed from Bohn Gaya I was down gr to worst room !!! This is an experience I never had from guests house more Money!!!

staff wasnt anything too special just average and the tour of the morning on the ganges and night was really bad. kid took us on the boat and didnt tell us anything we were looking at and we paid double the going rate

Beautiful hotel with rooftop dining and lots of private places to sit on the patio and relax. Restaurant staff were very attentive. Many tours available at the front desk plus money exchange. Hotel employee also has it's own ghat and boat.

Sometimes WiFi was not available in my room, but always available in the lobby.

Location is walking distance to everything. The Prince and the staff are all kind and accomodating. It is good we had local guide Dilip Sahani to show us the customs and streets of Varanasi. We learned a lot from him. He is patient to take our pictures. We like the tasty food served at Ganpati Restaurant and the view at the top is very good.

The bathroom curtains can be longer so water will not overflow on the floor. Bathroom faucets can be more fixed.

Terribly expensive for the kind of accommodation they have provided.Location is not at all accessible. Would not recommend to anyone with mobility issues. Cab can't come within 2km of the hotel.

The location, the view, right on the Ganges, very close to Vishwanath temple and Dashashwomedh ghat, staff were very welcoming and helpful, the building gives the old benaras vibe, food was good (veg and egg available), and the restaurant staff was fantastic. You have to walk for 15min to reach the hotel but the porter service provided from the hotel was smooth.

The rooms, our rooms were not river facing, that's okay, river facing ones were too pricey unnecessarily...but when we are paying 4000 INR (original price 6000) for a double room we expect few facilities. Rooms were very small and staffy, bathrooms were very small, no tap only shower keeping in mind the need of the foreigners and not indians, bed linens look shabby and overused, no mirror or dressing table in room, only one small mirror in bathroom and very poor lighting..on top of that we stayed there for 3nights but no room cleaning done in 3days, no refilling of mineral water, tea coffee packs or toiletries...basically they are providing a 1000-1500 room in 4000 just for the locationWe understand it's an ancient property where the room structure can't be changed but these facilities must be provided. when you are charging so high you have to work on it...you can't just do business using the holy Ganges.

The property is right in the banks of river Ganga. Nice river view, if you opted for a room with river facing.

It is too hard to find as it is nestled back into very narrow , winding and tucked in a corner of a street. There is not a display of sign boards from the main road and you have to walk 10-15 minutes once you get down from your taxi or auto.

I had a wonderful experience at Ganpati Guest House in Varanasi, located right on the banks of the holy Ganga River. The hotel arranged a taxi and porter for a small fee, which made it easy and convenient to reach the property and also ensured a smooth return trip to the airport.The hotel is very well maintained, and the on-site restaurant serves delicious and flavorful food. I also took part in their guided walking tour, which was excellent. Within 4 to 5 hours, we were able to visit several important temples, witness the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti, and enjoy a serene boat ride all the way to Assi Ghat.Please note, this is a classic heritage-style hotel, and the building is older—as one should expect in a historic city like Varanasi. Overall, I highly recommend Ganpati Guest House for a comfortable and culturally rich stay.

Location is just perfect. Clean, welcoming rooms and common spaces with top-view of the river.

Very close to the river and there was an amazing music school inside the guest house area! Made a great stay excellent.

Some of the colors inside the rooms (the bright yellow) made the space a little unsettling and less than tranquil.

View over the Ganges and the ghats was magnificent. The transport to/from the station/airport worked really well as the hotel provided porters to carry bags and navigate through the lanes.

Shower pressure was poor.

Very small bathroom

Very nice hotel. We stayed in economy rooms with no view, however we still saw Ganga from our windows, and it was more quiet. The rooms were clean, spacious and newly refurbished, with the nets on windows to avoid mosquitos and monkeys. The location is awesome, few minutes from the Meer ghat. All the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel restaurant is quite good for that area.

Staff, food, and location were excellent for the purpose of our trip. The area is quite loud, even at night. Loved how close is to Ganges River and main ghats.

I think the property needs some TLC, considering is a very old building. Also, it is hard to reach there. Is not appropriate for people with physical limitations, disabilities, and elderly people.

Great location! It is guest house, witj tipical decoration, the view from the terrace is astonishing.
