I was charged for extra bed but they provided a bed like jhoola Front office staaf was not friendly Limited variety of breakfastOverall it was bad experience to stey this hotel .

Zero facilities in the room. Hair dryer, TV, heater did not work.

It was a horrible experience. The property is run by a group of uneducated and unprofessional people. Starting from the reception, reservation manager, general manager all are unprofessional and liar. It seems the owner is not updated on what's going on in his hotel. Please do not book this hotel. It only looks good, the rest are all worst. I think booking.com should review it from their customers and immediately remove this hotel from their site.

The Lawn of the Hotel was spacious and really good looking, and the breakfast was also good, But the rooms allocated was not good enough.

I am a UAE resident and stayed in this hotel for one night. Palace word is just in name. It is an ordinary hotelParking is too far. You have to walk with all your luggage from parking to reception. No one is there to help you with luggage. Construction work is going on without following any procedure. It's open and dusty. They don't bother to cover it. You have to walk through the dirty construction area to your room. Rooms are outdated and shabby. Worth considering other hotel in this price range. This is so outdated.Response received from Hotel "For parking if number of cars will increase more & more then obviously parking space will be little far but it is in the hotel premises "I feel the explanation regarding the parking situation is inadequate. If your parking is located far from the reception — especially during high occupancy — then it becomes the hotel's clear responsibility to provide assistance with luggage. Expecting guests, including those with newborns or multiple bags, to carry their own luggage through an UNCOVERED, DIRTY and BUMPY area is not acceptable for any hotel, let alone one branded as a "Palace."Guest comfort and support should be a priority, and unfortunately, that was missing during my stay.

My stay at Hotel Surya, Kaiser Palace was truly memorable and a perfect blend of comfort, culture, and calm in the heart of Varanasi. What I liked most about the property was its beautiful heritage charm—the hotel is set in a former royal palace, and you can actually feel the history in its architecture, vintage decor, and lush green lawns.The staff were warm, courteous, and helpful throughout. They were always ready with a smile and made sure we felt welcome from check-in to check-out. A special mention to the housekeeping team for keeping the rooms clean and cozy every day.The pool area was another highlight—clean, well-maintained, and perfect to cool off after a day exploring the ghats and temples.The in-house restaurant served delicious food, with a good mix of Indian and continental options. The breakfast buffet had fresh fruits, hot items, and local delicacies—something for every palate.

Staff was quite courteous and helpful.

The toileteries were not up to the mark in comparison to the tariff charged, shampoo & conditioner were quite bad. Toilet seat was not sanitized properly to match your hotel standard.Mattress has lost its strength.

The stay was very good — the spa is simply amazing and the staff is very attentive. The room was always clean and the towels were replaced regularly, which was a big plus. The pool was almost always empty, making it more comfortable to enjoy. Incredible experience, I would definitely come back and recommend the hotel!

We had food poisoning from the restaurant’s food and had to stay an extra day, which at least allowed us to enjoy the spa even more.

The location is excellent, and the on-site café and bar were wonderful additions to the experience. My room was spacious and comfortable, with beautiful large windows offering lovely garden views.

The bathroom requires more thorough cleaning, The toilet flush isn't functioning properly in my room number 215and there's a persistent musty odor in the room. If you booked through Booking.com, they keep messaging you for advance confirmation; otherwise, your booking confirmation won't be done. I don’t know why my credit card details were there to block the amount.

1. The manager needs to learn manners. He was behaving as if we have come to loot his property. Even after the Credit card details were given while booking, they insisted to make a full payment while check in.And the manner of the same , was totally absurd as if they were doing me a great favour. The so called assistant manager stood beside like a bouncer about to hit me with a heavy rod if I don't make the payment NOW! The lousiest manager ever !!! And I'm being polite with my words.2. The place is INFESTED WITH MOSQUITOS...and I'm not kidding, it's like surving in some deep amazon jungle!The room was ? sick full of dead mosquitos. 3..the location is just beside a canal ( so called river) .. stagnant and smells like shit! 4. Rooms are OLD , NEEDS RENOVATIONAND NEW FRESH PAINT TO TAKE OFF THE DEAD MOSQUITOS AND THE BLOOD SPLASH.HORRIBLE IS AN UNDER STATEMENT.

Got breakfast without onion & garlic as this was my preference. Rooms were nice and clean. The check in and check out were comfortable.

Restaurant staff where we did take lunch was a little rude.

Washroom faucets not working properly. Room Phone service and WiFi was cutoff early morning on our departure day, caused little inconvenience in reaching our driver.
