The location of the hotel is good.

The surrounding was so dirty that you don't feel like going out. The linen in the hotel looks so dirty. We were told whilst booking, that the hotel will arrange the tour guide etc. but they could not even get us a tour guide. Everything you ask is money first & nothing gets sorted or done.

Staff was friendly. Hotel is clean and in a good location for travelers who want to access the Assi Ghat and other ghats.

We had to upgrade to a suite because the regular rooms did not have a locker; this is needed for international travelers to secure passports.

The facilities are beautiful and the rooftop restaurant overlooking the Ganges is wonderful!Conveniently located just a short walk to the Assi Ghat!And best of all, the staff is friendly and helpful.Even though they were busy, they were kind enough to help us with early check-in and changing money,etc.I think this is the best hotel including all the staff!

Location

It's not value for money paid nearly 5-6k per night. Room was small, it didn't have any table for meals. Washroom was leaky. Expensive room for no added value.I think they are charging high perhaps you can see ganga river from their roofs. BTW Buffet had very few options, it's the least I have seen in any hotels in all my stays.

This hotel is the best hotel in Varanasi each & every penny is worth it. Do not give it a second thought just go for it. The food was awesome.View from Rooftop was spectacular.Cleanliness & hygiene cannot be matched by any other hotel.Totally Loved this hotel.Staff was also very Helpful & kind.

If you’re considering this hotel solely for its location, you might want to think twice. While it’s conveniently situated, the experience falls far short of acceptable. The rooms we stayed in (three in total) were uniformly unclean, with dirt on the floors, and lacked essential supplies like toilet paper and towels. The shower was non-functional, adding to the frustrations. What made it worse was the unsettling experience of staff entering our room at night due to communication issues among them—they mistakenly thought we occupied more rooms than we did.It was clear there was a significant breakdown in both cleanliness standards and communication among the staff, making for an uncomfortable and disorganized stay. The location is indeed ideal, but unfortunately, it’s the only positive aspect of our experience. I would not recommend this hotel unless improvements are made in cleanliness and service quality.

Location. Lift. Friendly, eager to please staff. Clean lobby and corridors. Convenient In house restaurant.

The staff was good and trying their best to help. The location was good.

The linen was dirty, no matter how many time they changed it. May be it was old so it remained dirty and dull looking, had a couple of uncomfortable nights. The room service was bad, some of them were really absent minded.

The location and rooftop are the only 2 things that standout for the hotel. The location is just besides Assi ghat and you can just walk to the ghats from the hotel.

The breakfast was really below average and the room was really small for 3 people.

The location is very close to Assi Ghat. And what we also need to mention is that the security guards of the hotel are extremely friendly and helpfull.

the hygiene was very poor. the staffs in charge of room service did not clean the sink, toilet bowls and did not mop the floor. the water faucet was faulty.

The staff felt like family and friends within days. When my next hotel didn't work out, Hotel River Rhythm's management went out of their way to extend my stay, though they were fairly booked up.
