Comfortable, supportive staff and pocket friendly. Hassle free check in and check out. Manager Dharamveer is very kind and supportive, Nearest to the Sarnath railway station and Buddhist temples, markets & monestry are at walking distance.

Room was clean while check in but after that there was no cleaning till I checked out

The kindness of the owner is a plus. Very good price and perfect location, quiet but on the way to the Golden Temple.

Budget guest house

Rude waiter and location is in village , unhygienic room and no proper guidance. I have booked ac room but they constantly disconnected Ac from there side though I have paid for Ac but weren't able to use it

Location is good very near to Sarnath Temple. They converted the home into guest house.

The room were not properly clean mainly Toilets. Bad smell was coming from Toilets. AC were running through out the day but no cooling. Food is very much limited as staff is not there.

Forget about breakfast not tea even, Got stuck for almost 2 hour in narrow street unsecured parking. Worst place I ever stay. Room was very dirty ventilator were covered with foot mats. Better to stay at station stair if season allows.

The bed was really comfortable. I had a room with a balcony which was nice to stand out in the morning.

Unfortunately there is construction works going on so there is mud everywhere.

A nice place to Sarnath Temple and the archaeological site. The owner is a very friendly and nice person. Thank you.

Located in a quiet part of Saranath, roof has almost 360 view ?

Distance from closest eateries might be too much for some people, staff's English is not so good

The staff were really friendly & the owner was a very good and humble person. I had a great time staying in mahamaya guest house. Located far away from the city, it's less noisy and the climate is cool compared to the varanasi city.

The road leading towards the guest house is pretty narrow and with a lot of potholes. Cars and big vehicles will face challenges passing through this particular road. Sometimes during festivals there are some programs which might run whole night in the nearby temples, so please carry your ear plugs as you'll need them at some nights.

The beds are good and comfortable. They did provide an AC facility.

The only thing bad about the guest house is the location. The road leading to the guest house is narrow and not well constructed. Also there is a huge vegetation around the house that puts the risk of mosquitoes and other harmful pests.

Till date I have not seen such a guest house. On reaching there, no one came in front of the door. For half an hour I was troubled with my group and there was no sign board. It was raining heavily. Pur I had to pay double the fare to my auto driver to reach another place which is near Varanasi or was in Sarnath, in such a guest house I will not advise anyone to book because there is no sign board of its south and The surrounding environment is also so scary that if you reach at night you will get burnt. The roads looked as if a big river was flowing.

I had never expected in my life that this would happen.Most of all, I felt worse that no one came out of the main gate. No receptionist no manager My advice is don't go home during rain or at night.

We had a lovely stay at Mahamaya Guesthouse. Everyone was very friendly and despite our late arrival at around 9:30 pm we were served delicious fried rice by Abhishek. Anand also helped us with everything else. The location is a bit out of the center of varanasi, so it's a longer tuktuk ride if you want to go downtown.

Extremely nice cook, delivered food to room, customised my order. Amazing human.Flexible manager. Could reach on whatsapp whenever. Let me leave bags in room for many hrs after checkout.

Anand the host is a generous and kind human being. Always ready to help and make my stay confortable in every way. For example he helped me extensively in time of need for currency exchange and money transfer among other things.Fully recommended guest house.

It is a really nice simple guest house if you'd like to stay in Sarnath. I had a basic room and have no complaints. Anand really cares about guests and their comfort. He helped me with the auto to the railway late in the evening. Very good experience.

Well, when I arrived, the bathroom wasn't cleaned. I just mentioned it to the host, and withing an hour everything was shining.

####ALERT!!!####STRICT AVOID!!!!!!!!This paying guest house is a fraud. The person here is full money minded. I had informed him that I would be reaching the property by midnight with my family. I reached there to find out that he had given the room to someone else for more money.Horrible experience!!

Everything? Anand, the owner, is extremely helpful, the bed and bathroom are nice, it was very clean. Also very close to the main attractions in Sarnath. I wish I could stay longer...

Very near to the temples, stupas and ruins. Comfortable accommodation. Anand is very kind and helpful. I felt at home there.
