Charrua Hotel

The location could not be better!!! The hotel is in the social heart of the city, steps away from the great restaurants, breweries and bars.

The breakfast could be enhanced by incorporating more local products, such as regional sausages and charcuterie. Including these would not only elevate the overall quality but also offer guests a richer experience of the local culture and flavors. It’s a great opportunity to bring the city’s culinary identity to the table.

Could use a little update in rooms

The most positive side it is location. The breakfast food is good, but not amazing. The beverages but coffee were terrible.

The bedrooms where pretty ok, there's a lot of noise from the streets below.Also the shower it not good, the hot water was oscillating from too hot to cold all the time.

Very Clean, super restaurant and breakfast, great location

Great room, great shower and the staff is very polite and warm. It was a great stay. The breakfast is very complete and will probably get you full for the day.Regarding location, the hotel is located very much in the center of the city, righ in the middle of the main social life of Santa Cruz do Sul. Its already located at the end of the main shopping street, and next to the Catedral. The street in front of the hotel holds the city's main bars with a vibrant nightlife, and around the block, you will find "Restaurant Chef Davi", possibly the best in town, as well as the city's nightclubs and pubs.

The staffs were great. Very helpful and kind

The hotel stopped in time, it needs renovation. The cleaning service isn’t great either. The breakfast lacks variety. Boring and not very tasteful.

The hotel was clean, conveniently located to everything we needed, and the staff was very friendly.

Breakfast could have had more meat choices but what they had was very good.

Charrua has lost a lot of its charm and glamour. It needs management. The evening activity at the gas station across the street was not helpful, although not the hotel’s fault

Great central location, secure parking and good (if slow service) food. Nice and varied breakfast. The rooms are comfortable and have the basics needed.

The tv channels didn’t work, and only 1 set of towels between 2 guests.

The breakfast was varied and tasted good. There was always plenty available. The coffee was also nice.The hot tub on the bathroom was really good, and the room spacious.

The restaurant was short staffed, so long wait for food in the evening.

The Hotel staff was very friendly and check in process very quick.

It's an older hotel, some updates were made, furniture choice was not good, jaccuzzy in such a small bathroom seems a waste of resources.

Noisy, hard to sleep

Too noisy. No noise insulation at all (walls not soundproof, window not soundproof, city extremely noisy)

Nice hotel, well located in the downtown area and good room size.

The street in front of the hotel is noisy and the hotel windows are not prepared for that.

I have stayed here for years and always liked it, however we both felt it had gone down

Road outside dug up… no access to garage on a night of rain… had to park a distance and yet pay the hotel for the park! Had to ask three times for extra pillow! finally at came at 10pm!breakfast most disappointing… used to be excellent… so much inferior of what it used to be!

Hotel location is good.

-Laundry is not picked up in the room, employees insist that it need to be brought to reception by the customer...otherwise "it gets difficult"-Room was not cleaned regularly.-I was requested to pay my bill just for the closing of the month...-For three days there was no butter.-Bread was fairly fresh.-No discount when not having breakfast services-lot of excuses but no apologies' from staff

The location is the best ever

Staff did not support well, seems like they were giving me a favor. Breakfast was not complete and the name of things were incorrect such as “chocolate croissant” was actually chicken croissant, causing inconvenience to people vegetarian for example.

Very good location, close to many points of interest.Great breakfast.

The staff will happily go to any length to accommodate guests’ needs.

The pool should be cleaned more often.
