Astoria Hotel

The hotel is in a good location within easy walking distance of all the shops, sights and stadiums of the central city. The room was very clean and the staff that I encountered were very helpful.

The TV didn’t work and the place definitely needs some love shown to it ! But I would stay there again !

I like the location and cleanliness of the hotel and the staff was helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable.

There were no sandals for the room use so we had to use our outside shoes instead which makes the room unclean.

location of the property is very good.

Everything except some stuff behaviour. No room service, not adequate lighting in the room, torn towels, no house keeping, no hot water. Will never visit again for sure.

Good for only 1 night stay. Near to major locations like Park Street and metro.

No hot water, no buffet breakfast. Old property seems no occupancy. Had to ask for water bottle as they didn’t keep it. Dingy rooms. Far worse than the photos available.

The breakfast was satisfactory

It would be better if wifi was available in the room and a new coat of paint would be nice but overall no complaints location was handy would stay there again

Staff responded well

Badly maintained , shabby, unclean room. all faciliteis were arranged only on complaining.not suitable for strangers to the city.

Location StaffsRoom service

The location of the hotel is good and everything is nearby.

Their staff are rude. They do not appreciate those who book online. Had Bad experience with them.

Good Breakfast, Very close to Kolkata New Market, Good Restaurent around.

They can have restaurent at the property.

It's ok, other places in the area are not better at this level. It's central but away from traffic noise

Needs more cleanliness,

The food was fresh and the staffs were very professional and hospital.

A bit more cleanliness would be nice.

Excellent Hotel in the very busy area of Park Street and Esplanade.... just a minute walk beside the Indian Museum at Sudder Street. Rooms were nice, clean and quiet.

Staff were very courteous and helpful.Location is very good.

Hot water supply in the morning needs improvement. The boiler does not warm the water properly in the morning.

Main is it's location. Room size is fair enough..

Need renovation. I am staying in this for long time back. But this time after corona I feel hotel's rooms need renovations.

Not good, Telephone was out of work, Room safe box problem, hot water is available only morning time, no breakfast facilities, but location is supper.

Fantastic Location, All The "Family Members Of The Hotel Astoria" Were Well Behaved, Polite, Gentle & Helpful. Yes It's A Very Good Experience Staying At a Hotel named "Astoria"

TV Was Not Working.........

Location was excellent, right in the heart of new market area. Staffs are friendly. Comfotable stay. Money for value.

Room service was very good. Staff were friendly and helpful. We got breakfast in bed. New market is so close. Only 5 min walk from the hotel. Couple of money exchangers nearby.

There was no bathroom slippers, no complementary water bottles.

Location and Staff service Good.Very near to Kolkata New Market.

Restaurant Food price is too expensive.

location was good, close to New market @ shopping @ food.

old property. no new amenities.
