Linen should be cleaner. Toilet needs new fittings.

Very basic. Nothing remarkable. It starts at 7:30AM which is surprising as breakfast starts at 6:30AM in most hotels.

Room was very basic. Toilet was just about ok. There were mosquitoes in the room and toilet. The linen was kind of smelly.

The location is great, the price is affordable, the staff is helpful.

Cleanliness can be much better. Torn curtains should be replaced. AC controls are bad.

Breakfast was Ok. Other Fruits such as papaya, musk melon, yellow banana and so also cucumber would add to the ones who prefer to have them. Local Bengali cuisine breakfast could be welcome for guests coming from outstations.

AC is not effective.

The location was the best element in my mother's and wife's 1 night stay at this property. Everything else was standard, nothing special.

The bed linen, pillows were old, unclean, stale, stank like hell. The toilet is not advisable for senior citizens. Breakfast spread is abysmal so better take a walk outside near the lake -- good eateries streetside with plenty to offer.

the staff were awesome as always.. immediately recognized me due to my previous stays here.. breakfast is pretty good.. loved their dosas and other fresh offerings.. checkin and checkouts are a breeze.. despite being right across a garbage collection center, everything around the hotel is supser clean and a very quiet area.. a few restaurants and vbars are 10=12 minutes of walk away.

towels are way way way too old.. they need to seriously think about getting replacements.. the shower releases water so slowly that it will take you good 30 minutes just to get a decent wash.they claim to have a refrigerator, but it doesn't really work.. they excuse is it will only get as cold as the AC temperature you have set!!!they seem to not pay attention to little details that actually matter

Good Breakfast. One or two more fruits could have been better or fresh fruit juice for the day.Idlis were not as good as it should have been.

Towels were pretty old ones which was pointed out to someone at the counter who did not even respond to it. Neither did send someone to look into it and change for fresh ones.A smile from the staff on check in and check out may make the difference to book in again for the next visit. Please keep your printer in good condition as am yet to receive my bills for my stay which could not be shared then though I shared email and card for quick response. There should be alternatives instantly as guest would not like to leave the bill especially when it is to the Company.

The receptionist was okay but the housekeeping staff was very rude.We had to call several times for missing items in the room.The room was not clean - there was dust on all surfaces.When i asked for a cleaner room, the receptionist said its not available.

Was just okay for a quick stay.

Some of the staff was excellent, others not as much. Room itself was decent, not great. I think for the price there are better properties closer to the action in Kolkata.

On April 15 I had the WORST EXPERIENCE AT THIS HOTEL. I have stayed here at least 12 times and this was the WORDT.. breakfast buffet was NOT available… it was atrocious quality omelettes .. they said they have only few guests and hence they did not serve breakfast except for coffee at expensive rates in SMALL cups and then charged FULL for every half full cup of coffee THIS NEVER HAPPENS WHEN GOKUL IS THERE. HE IS A GOOD RESTAURANT MANAGER. I want the owner Mr. Japan to know this

Location was convenient

We had initially booked a suite room. When we checked in, the toilet was dirty and the room was smelling of urine. We asked them to move us and after a LOT of discussion and a call to booking.com, they moved us into a deluxe room which was a downgrade from the suite. Over the next couple of days, we realised they put us in one of the worst rooms they had (they were not fully booked out). They then proceeded to try to charge us the same as the suite room by sending an email to booking.com saying that it was the same rate. After our experience at check-in, one would have expected the hotel to be generous and gracious but they were really not right through our 5 night stay. I don't recommend the place for long stays or with kids.

Location is close to central part of the city i.e quest mall, south city mall, Victoria and new market etc. Breakfast was also good.

Need better coordination among staffs. Washrooms had black stains and white bed sheets had yellow stains. Room size is small comparatively (Delux room).

The location (southern avenue) is great - peaceful yet at the heart of the city. The food was very good - both Indian and continental. Staff was helpful as well.

Additional services like car bookings were delayed despite prior commitment.

Location is awesome.very nice places around Compact hotel . Good food.

Restaurant is very cozy and breakfast menu is not enough

Staff were ok.

Room was not provided with basic amenities. Hair dryer broken, water heater broken.Sure not worth of money . oyo Has better facilities at 1/3 of price.

Location and staff were excellent. General facilities were good.

Too fussy about petty things. They will only supply only two tea sachets per day. Only two 200ml water bottles a day. We had to ask for two sets of towels etc.

Food service was good, TV worked well.

Shower was defective, Internet connection very slow. Ac was either too cold or not cofortable.

Room was too dusty, AC was centrally controlled, pillow, towel and bed sheets were not clean.
