Colesberg Lodge

I liked the bed this time.... Much better than last time.... Had a good rest...

Think the shower in the bath is still the biggest dislike so if your an older person please ask for a room with a proper shower.

Small little oasis in Colesberg we enjoyed our stay. Very clean rooms was amazed.

Swimming pool area is beautifull.

Well received hospitality, Safe vehicle parking provided, Room is spacious with a nice large comfortable bed. Friendly staff and good food and drinks available with a nice pool in summertime to cool off in.

The staff was helpful and friendly. The place was extremely clean.

Restaurant doesn't provide any options for halaal and there was a lack of veg options.The rooms were good, however there's a no privacy. You can hear everything that happens in the next rooms and rooms down the corridors. Makes it awkward and uncomfortable.The app also doesn't mention the additional R35 a night for parking.Please consider adding a microwave.

We had a one night en route to Jhb.so it was great to have a comfortable, clean and safe one-stop stay where we could also get a delicious meal as well as have a large pool and recreation area to unwind. Friendly and hrlpful staff was a bonus.

I would have preferred hand soap and a small bottle of shower soap to use.

Ample shaded parking with concierge to carry bags and guide you to your room.Lovely Pool Deck with tables, a bar and food available - the pool is beautiful!Spacious room and bathroom.Security lets you out and takes room keys on early departure.Food and Bev available through the lodge.

I felt a little unsure of where to check in on arrival. We had to double park in the street to visit reception before entry into the parking. Thereafter, it was easy.

Central location and clean. Nice swimming pool. Adjoining rooms which was great.

Restaurant closes early, so arriving after 8 and no food. Nothing else in town open apart from service station, if you have a poolside room like we did… guests swimming and drinking beer at midnight inconsiderate…

The staff is very friendly! I loved the fact that they have a bar and restaurant on site. The location is beautiful. Really enjoyed my stay here! Also they work 24hours- which makes it convenient if you arrive late or leave early.

Pleasant stay. The room was well appointed with comfortable beds. It was very clean and staff were helpful.

The bathroom lacked a shower.

Dylan the handyman was our favorite.All the staff were friendly.Food was goodAmeneties as well. Lovely stop over if passing through .

That there was no fridge in rooms or allowes ro eat or drink in them.

N/A - breakfast.Edward, the porter, is an exceptional young man. I trust he will be given opportunities to further develop his talents.

WiFi was not working the afternoon we arrived. I reported it to the barman. It was still not working that night or the following morning.The bed was too hard.

Everything was amazing from check in to check out. The staff are very friendly and everything was clean and tidy. Beds were comfortable and the pool was lovely on the 33 degree hot day. Thank you so much.
