Cons -
- not as described by booking.comunit tired and dated noise from unit above 5 star prices for 3 star accommodation
- check-in service can be improved. Shuttle service is limited, better to extended to include the golf course club house. Reception asked us to walk for 20 mins holding our golf clubs to the club house, which didn't make much sense

We are a returning guest. The renovation upgrade was very successful. Views still fantastic. Bakefeast in Kleine Zalze very nice.
Bumps on the intrenal road to high.
The property is very beautiful, the rooms are very much comfortable. A very good breakfast. The restaurant is also very nice. There are bikes available to explore the beauty of the place which is fantastic.
Stunning views of the mountain range in Stellenbosch, great service at the wine tasting with very friendly helpful staff! Absolutely scenic views!
It’s in a beautiful secure estate on the golf course.
Needs a Nespresso machine in the room.
We went to a birthday party at the golf club. Was great to have accommodation on the Estate
Been disturbed by arrival in neighbouring unit of drunk woman , screeming , laughting and shouting and arrival of males inviting the ladies to still go out . This all after 11.00 pm and till late
The location is stunning, with beautiful views of the golf course and mountains, and a particularly lovely vineyard. We also enjoyed the pleasant breakfast setting, just a short walk away. The wine tasting included in our stay was a highlight, and the staff at both the tasting and breakfast were excellent.
However, the rooms themselves need improvement. While they appeared adequate, the bathroom was dated, featuring a shower head with poor water pressure and slow hot water.
Breakfast was a bit poor
Presentation and facility was not very good.A small microwave in the room would of great help.
room beautiful overlooking the pool. Breakfast was average.
Restaurant for evenings were closed for the 2 nights we were there so we had to go out of the Estate for dinner. Would have preferred this was communicated to us before check-in.
Beautiful setting and breakfast was good
For the price, we were expecting a little house. We got a very small room and shower
Breakfast was lovely, complimentary wine tasting was amazing, views were incredible
shower leaked, curtains had stains on them, noisy due to flats being quite close together and doors being very heavy and slamming and on the last 2 days the wifi disappeared and caused quite a bit of stress for us as we needed the wifi to do our flight check in etc
Our stay was nice and peaceful. The reception staff were great& helpful. The restaurant staff ??.
Carrying heavy bags up the stair case on check outThe shower is slippery, one can easily fall if not extra careful Walking on the rain when we checked in, atleast get a golf cart to drive your guests to the rooms on rainy days.A bigger TV would do.
Shiraz 3 is located on the lower floor. Felt like going to a dungeon to reach the front door. The view from the room looked onto the pool (20m away) and a splendid 180 degree mountain scenery views. The king size bed was comfortable. The bathroom was a reasonable size. The breakfast room is a distance from the room but a buggy service is provided without charge. The breakfast has a cold section and a hot menu that provides ample food to eat. An onsite restaurant is being built and is expected to be completed in late 2025 so there is no evening onsite dinning available at present. The old settee was surprisingly comfortable to sit on.
The room and bathroom are typical of an age gone by and sadly wear and tear is very evident. Several sections of the white grout between the shower 1 inch square (25mm) tiles are grey black. There are no spare power points in the main room and only one in the bedroom under the luggage stool. There is refuse (garbage) odour just outside the room door leading to the entrance stairs.
Welcoming warm and friendly reception. Beautiful view, balcony, functional room with fridge. Breakfast was served in a beautiful area, and complimentary wine tasting a welcome surprise. The building is designed in an interesting way to keep rooms private and avoid the usual long hotel corridors.
We had a three-night stay and wished it was longer. We booked a suite with the most amazing view. The staff – all of them – were exceptional! Thank you for looking after us so well!
It far exceeded expectations - clean, modern, spacious and the staff were lovely. The setting in the golf course was incredible and the club house does amazing food with lovely views. 100% recommend!
Nothing it was perfect
The staff were very friendly and helpful.Breakfast was excellent.Pool area and surrounding gardens were beautiful.
The room was very small and dark which meant we needed to have the door and curtains of the small window open as much as possible. As our room was positioned next to a walk way to other rooms, and on a corner plot, it meant we had no privacy inside and outside the room.
Well located and fair price
Rooms have very bad sound insulation. On the day we checked out, we had no hot water and the hair dryer on the room broke, we reported it to reception and they said they would send maintenance before the next guests, but made no apology for us and didn’t try to make it right.
