ITC Kohenur, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Hyderabad

Never expected this kind of service from ITC. They made me wait for 1 hour to checkin . I was told 2 pm check when i called them in morning and when i reached hotel they made me wait for 1.5 hour which is very irritating and staff was not at all polite.

I was pretty shocked to see many things inside the room like dental kit, packaged water bottles, hair dryer .. what ever u order it takes an hour to reach your room. I would never refer or visit again to this place

At the time of booking it shows free breakfast but they refused to give and it is not included. They told they will talk to their manager and they didn't turn up. We have paid for that

Breakfast area - used plates keep staking up behind south Indian section. Poor cleaning.

Nice big comfortable room!! And after the initial problems, the duty manager came to my room to personally find out what my concerns were. Very much appreciated.

No single queue to stand in when waiting to check in and check out. Need to hope for the best that the queue you're in won't be too slow. Many staff in the lobby to chat with me when checking in and asking me where I'm from, nice flight, etc. Yet nobody explained to me little details about the room that I was about to go to. Such as ordering room service using a tablet (which was on the far side of the room and easy to miss). The fact that the card slot to turn on lights when entering the room was not at the entrance, but a few meters into the room on one of the walls that could not be seen at all in the dark.And although minor, the next day the hotel slippers were placed on the far side of the bed (out of sight). So after removing shoes, had to walk around the room looking for the slippers, which should be near the entrance of the room.Overall, for a 5 star hotel, many little things really need to be fine tuned!!

This was my second ITC in India. Love the service, the food and the beds are like clouds!

The sky bar is very small, I thing they could do a lot more with it

Very large rooms, excellent breakfast with plenty of food cooked on the spot. Nice spa.

Location of the property!

Too many! I stayed on 27th December 2024.To start off the place looked like overbooked.We checked in at 4.30pm and we had to wait 35 mins to get the room.They told they are upgrading the room and we got a room which was dirty with bread crumbs and dirty towels! 5 star? Please remove 3 out of them! What happened to ITC? Bangalore is really good and ITC kohenur was shocking!

It was our anniversary stay cation and they made it very comfortable for us and wished us. All staff are very friendly and hospitable made our trip special. I made full use of the pool and spa.

One thing is I would like the hotels to have more pillow options. I prefer firmer pillows so would like hotels to offer options upfront.

Disappointing

Quality of food is not good. Same items daily repeated. Food Price is too high and it’s not worth also.Breakfast and dining area is too confusing and congested.

Location. Location.

The maintenance staff were pretty below par. I understand it’s more of a business hotel but for what we paid for night I would expect way better service.

There was a booking error, I tried hard to work with booking.com and the staff at the hotel to sort it out and failed, so I ended up paying $450 for a short stay from 3am to noon. This is one of the worst experience I've had with a luxury hotel: it doesn't seem the staff is willing or able to help.

Excellent structure and strong building, exceptional service by the staff and such a modern environment with traditional service and professional staff..

The restaurant food could improve- both at the Golconda pavilion and at the Dum Phukt Begum .. the dum biryani is no where near the real Hyderabad dum biryani… The meat in all snacks is too soft like mashed baby food.

The food was a little underwhelming at the Golconda restaurant.

We requested change of room and every day we were told it will be done but no effort or follow ups done. The food options for dine in were limited . To my surprise I stayed last at Novotel and they had more food options and staff was more friendly and caring

It was clean, and had good amenities.

I had to queue for breakfast, my view was a building site, the pillows were not comfortable at all.

Very comfortable room with balcony .Thanks for the upgrade.Delicious meals in all restaurants, especially at Dum Pukht Begum’s . Staff very courteous and helpful.Mr Udhit at Conciergerie made our stay memorable organising our tours beautifully.Sudanshu at Goncolda restaurant was most efficient.
