Deccan Serai Hotel

The hotel was clean and well-maintained. The room was comfortable and spacious enough for a short stay. The location is excellent, very close to the U.S. VAC and surrounded by good restaurants and cafes. Overall, a good value for money.

The staff took more than 30 minutes to locate my booking and mentioned multiple times that they couldn’t find it. The front desk communication also needs improvement, especially their English-speaking skills.

Super expensive prices, budget experience.

Amenities are poor, pictures are deceiving. Not at all value for money. Sink was clogged.

Service, receptionist's behaviour, and staff...the main problem.is with the front desk. Wuestions asked are treated rudely. Example, you ask for a choice, n the response is, we only have this. Its like you take it or upto you. Front desk doesn't even smile. Absolutely bad. It is tge first impression but is lost.

Breakfast is good and location is very good.

The room was not well maintained... Bathroom was not clean at all. even after complaining it was not done properly. No update to the complaint placed and no followup. since the location is good, they have enough customers and they do not bother. the unmovable a/c controller doesn't work. Overall not at the level of 3-star property.

Food was very tasty and reasonably prices. Staff were very courteous.

Repairs in adjoining rooms were a bit noisy

It's in a prime location. Since breakfast wasn't included, I can't comment on its quality. However, the overall experience was disappointing due to the poor cleanliness, unpleasant odors, and misleading information from the staff.

The worst beds, an unclean bathroom, and pale yellow bedsheets and blankets. The room had a strong smoke smell, noisy air conditioning, and a poorly cleaned floor. Additionally, the staff misrepresented the room.

Reception staff at the time of check out was rude .When I was requesting a change in the Invoice receipt , which was made out in two names instead of my name alone ( as I had paid for it ), he connected me to his manager over phone , but saying “ I don’t want a headache to start the morning!I consider that disrespectful and not at all hospitable for someone at the front desk in the business of Hospitality !!

while booking website showed executive room with balcony. there is no balcony and the view outside was worst. The way it is mentioned on web site is completely wrong

It was fine from a value for money perspective.

The property is run like a hostel, with the receptionist behaving like a hostel warden. A former colleague came to meet me and considering that I could not walk comfortably, I requested them to come up to my room. Within a minute, I received a call from a very officious receptionist saying that the guest must leave immediately, and five minutes later, I received yet another call asking for my guest to leave. This behaviour ruined my stay.

Dinner and Break fast has been good everytime. Staff behave politely with guests. Property is located in a good location with quick access to many basic needs. You get cabs and rides quickly from this location.

You book something online but property ends up giving something when u reach there. The rooms promised are not as rooms available. Cleanliness was not upto mark. The bed was not comfortable, I had to ask 2wice to change pillows. Overall this time stay was not great.
