Hotel Minerva Grand Secunderabad

The hotel is situated in Secunderabad. If you plan to spend much of your time in this area then the hotel is perfectly situated for you. The room cleaning staff is excellent. Very friendly and do a very good job.

The hotel is undergoing renovations. The work is noisy and goes on all day long. If you plan to be in your room between 10 AM and 6 PM you will be inconvenienced.

The hotel is in the perfect location for those visiting the Secunderabad area. Many shops and restaurants are nearby. The staff are by and large friendly and helpful.

The staff was very eager to help and it looked like they took great pride in their hotel, in polishing the railing of the lobby and keeping up the flower decorations in the lobby and entrance area fresh. The breakfast food options were amazing and tasty.

My room has cockroaches, I killed at least five during my stay. The A/C in the room was also hit and miss. The WiFi was as good as non-existent: it only worked for one of the five days I stayed there and when it did work, was as slow as dialup.

The location of this hotel was very important to us. If you need to stay in the Secunderabad area of Hyderabad this location is great! The staff is friendly and tries to be as agreeable as possible. The rooms are large and generally in good condition.

The room areas can be noisy depending on who else is staying on your floor. The hotel is definitely not smoke free. Many people smoke in their rooms and in the corridors.

Nothing was nice.

First they gave us twin beds even though we never asked for it as we are a gay couple. Then they switched us to a room with a king bed but the flush, the phone, the AC were not working and there were cockroaches in the room. They gave us a third room which was “better” but still had stains on the couch and bedding, water damage on the walls and still 2 dead cockroaches in the bathroom. We asked to checkout the bext day even though we paid for 3 nights. While they did give us a refund without much of an issue, we didn’t get so much as an apology.

Breakfast was quite boring for international guests. I may have been okay for the local crowd.

They were not willing to negotiate on any terms we asked. Rats running on the roofs - water taps leaking -

Location, courteous staff always willing to help, spacious rooms

The property has become very old. We found cockroaches in our room every day and there were flies as well on walls. We informed this to front desk and they have promised to pest control at the earliest.

The rooms were clean and spacious I had a suite . Everyone was very welcoming .

Housekeeping definitely needs to improve. i paid a bomb and i now think i could have stayed at teh same cost in a better hotel. Also, i booked my room through booking.com. The treatment was quite embarrassing.

- Extremely central location in Secunderabad - Large old room with an old-fashioned bathroom. - Daily local Newspaper (TOI) was provided. - Two small bottles of Drinking Water were provided complimentary each day of my stay- Efficient Same Day Laundry Service - Very clean premises

1. No Safe provided when requested for safe custody of my Passport and other valuables. 2. No Ceiling Fan in the Room so it was compulsory to use the A/C permanently for ventilation. 3. There are no Reading Lights at the head of Bedside so one is forced to sit at the table to read. 4.There are NO TV Channels available in the Set in the Room. When inquired, Receptionist informed that the required Channels need to be configured by a Technician. This was not informed to me at the time of Check In. Even after the Technician provided access to a few channels, still it was extremely cumbersome to identify these. 5. One chair was very rundown with ragged, torn upholstery

There is nothing which has to be liked. Room has no renovation. Flooring is damaged. Bathrooms not maintained. Drainage not proper.

Had a very good experience staying at the premises. The hotel was clean, the staff was good, and the food was also very good. Enjoyed my little stay at the Hotel.
