Courtyard by Marriott Hyderabad

So many things went wrong. The hotel charged me more than the menu price. I prefer not to stay again even for free.

Staff. Too dedicated. Make you feel at-home.

Property under renovation , so lift problems

The bed and linen, food was adequate and on point.

The ongoing construction, very noisy. The carpets were so dirty that the whole family left with a cold, sore throat and running noses, literally sick because of room dust, carpets and curtains.

We left after only one day. Place was unacceptable for customer meetings.

Noise, construction, Debit Card not taken for reserving payment.

The staff seem to be very caring. However there are number of issues that I explained in the other section.

The hotel was under going massive renovation. There were constant issues in the bathroom and other areas. I have even shared the photos with the staff. What is disappointing is that these issues were reoccurring. This is for booking.com team, all the major hotel chains are not accepting to add the nights to the loyalty program since it was booked through third party like booking.com. What is the justification to book through booking.com? This needs to be addressed.

Breakfast was very good. All the Staff members including the Chef and JANA were very helpful in attending to our specific needs for breakfast . Nice location. Right from the entrance and Hotel executives were very much accommodative .Good spread of Fruits, Juices and breakfast menu

There was only one issue ..on the last day ,we did not get enough water in the wash room ,due to some major repair work in the pipe lines . However , that is not a major issue

I like about the property restaurant and their staff dedication and hard work.

We were booked in Courtyard but due to the ongoing renovation work, we were upgraded to Hotel Marriott Hyderabad, which is connected to this property by Pritam at the reception.The stay and rooms were comfortable and food was delicious.Special thanks to Sathwika and Ankit state reception for all the assistance.Keep it up!

The electricity shutdown many times.

The staff are lovely and very helpful , it is very clean but the decor is dated.

Ok my two biggest problems were 1st they are renovating so it gets very noisy during work hours, I’m lucky i was working outside or i would have gone crazy the other issue thing I’m really angry about is the driver who took me to the airport damaged my bag very badly and as I had a plane to catch i couldn’t have him ring and report it , he flatly denied he damaged it. This left a very bad impression on me.

The staff were amazing. From the moment we walked in we were greeted by a young lady and she spoke to my wife and my child and spoke to them while I discussed the room and the breakfast. The room was spacious, clean and had all requirements we needed. The room service was quick and helpful

The loud noise when the rooms were being cleaned. We heard it when we got into the room and we understand all rooms need to be cleaned. Just didn't like the loud noise

The registration desk and staff was very efficient and allowed us to add another room at the instant we checked in, as we had more people joining the trip.The room staff was extremely courteous and polite throughout our stay. They all always greeted us with a smile at any time of the day and wanted to know if we needed anything.The breakfast staff was extremely courteous and responsive to our needs and met our diet requests instantly.The staff at the entrace were equally courteous on our arrival & departures from the hotel over multiple days and were ready to help us with our baggage or other needs.

The following are the issues we encountered:1. The deal breaker for us is the lack of cloth washing and drying machines on hotel premises, which we can operate ourselves.The hotel laundry service charged an exorbitant amount of money (more than 100 US$ or more in Indian currency of INR 8000) for the one time we needed their service to wash and dry our clothes. It is not something we can ever afford for a one time wash and will PREVENT US from ever visiting the Marriott hotel chain in future unless they have a customer guest-operated laundry service on-premises.2. We needed a small microwave appliance in the room. It was a real annoyance not having one, when we wanted to simply warm up our room coffee or some snack we ordered in and needed warming up. This is again a deal breaker for us.3. The room looked clean when we checked in, BUT, the bathroom shower water was not draining fast enough and almost beginning to flood the bathroom floor. We had to abruptly cut off taking our shower to not flood the bathroom. This was a nightmare. My opinion: What matters is the functionally correct working of things, not clean appearances to impress the guests. It is unforgivable that for all the money Marriott charged us, they did not bother to check if the shower bath water was draining correctly before they offered us the room. This left a very bad taste in our mind about what we got as a room to stay for nine nights and for the money we were charged for that stay. It made us feel that Marriott cared about only outward shallow appearances and the not the real functional working of the different things in the room.Will I stay again in Courtyard Marriott in future? No, unless they address all of the above deficiencies and I have proof from Marriott that they provide the services I am asking. I need to know first before I book a Marriott reservation.I will also warn all my family members and friends about above Marriott deficiencies to be aware.

Loved the fireworks on New Year's EveCheck-in and check out were easy.Room was clean.Staff were polite

Would be great if you had liquid hand wash instead of soap near the sink.

Dinner was taken only on 01 day. Dinner was good (little variety). But breakfast was very poor, same breakfast on all 03 days.
