Hostal Encanto Machupicchu

Pros +

• For the price, it's a really good option. It's simple but it has all you need, a comfortable bed and a hot shower. The staff was super friendly, they stored my luggage while I visited Machu Picchu and since I had a 7 am tour, they kindly had my breakfast ready at 5:30 am.
• Very nice and welcoming stuff, both girls were polite and communicative. Room is clean and well kept, internet works very good. Be aware that entire place of Aguas Calientes is very humid, so keeping the window(s) open is necessary. But it's not hostel mistake, it's just as it is for everyone living or visiting. Even so, sheets were clean and fresh, we both slept very good. Breakfast was basic, but good enough - scrambled eggs, jam, butter, bread, tea and coffee.
• We had an ok stay at Hostel Encanto. The people were working behind the desk were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was basic but, again, the staff were very attentive. They were constantly topping up the food on the table, even after the official breakfast time had ended. On the downside, the rooms are a bit dated, although that could be expected for the amount paid. However, they smelt a little damp. Hot water took a long time to come through and the bathroom floor got very slippery and never seemed to dry!
