Meya Beach walk hotel & Restaurant

- The facility was quite sub standard and we were quite surprised with a company like booking.com associating with such a sub standard facility.The AC was running on full speed as it didn't have any regulator to control temperature and was very noisy n uncomfortable.The bathroom was super small and with leaky taps which left it wet 24/7.The facility had no restaurant attached and one has to walk for 300 meters to get to their restaurant

- The facility is not as per what is mentioned in booking.com and is quite sub standard and ill equipped to handle when the capacity is full.- It had leaky taps and cistern which left the washroom always wet.- While we booked for 4 people, blankets were provided for only 3

Bad

Room service was very bad, even after addressing the issues several times. We have checked in by 7pm and checked out by the next day 7pm. But they have charged for 1.5 days even though there were no proper facilities provided like Tv not worked, complementary breakfast was not good, plug points were not powered.

Spacious room, comfortable, courteous staff, clean and pleasant

Approach road could be better. Also, distinct signage not visible on ECRAlso, a kettle with ready to make Tea could have been provided

Location and proximity from the beach, as well as the main tourist location, is good. Breakfast for the items available is good and fresh. Rooms are spacious.

Avoid staying at the resort during the wedding season as nearby resorts are prone to playing loud music, and we were disturbed all 3 nights either due to a nearby corporate party or wedding. The majority of the time, reception is unmanned, and we need to call property owners for food services or any other requests. There is no such thing as "Process" or "Services" as rooms do not have phones, DND options, door bells, or AC condition is poor, which will make stay horrible during summers. Unless you are extremely tied up with budget, I will never recommend this place just because it is located near the beach.

Great location, half an hours walk to Shore Temple along a quiet beach. Property was kept very clean. The Triple room was light and spacious. 2 seats inside and 2 more outside, on a plant filled balcony. Room had some beautiful Indian furniture.Beach restaurant was lovely and we were well looked after in mornings and evenings by the staff. It was no problem catering for western veggie breakfast. Owner/ manager went the extra mile to help us. This help has already made travelling around India easier. Really appreciate all you did. Many thanks

Hotel was very good, safe place for family. Beach is just walkable distance. Overall its good place.

There is no proper hoardings to locate place, at nights it is difficult to find it. Bathroom could have been little bigger

Private access to beach and has its own restaurant also within 200meter all private dhava

First impression was poor, the hotel is far from the city. The room is clean the staff is friendly. You can walk to the private beach, and walk in the waves, no swimming. Breakfast was nice, and service perfect.

Beds a bit hard, for me good. Road to hotel muddy, beach is not kept well.

Nothing was like what you see in the picture…facilities in the room was very basic…TV was not working..we kept on requesting for an electric cattle which took almost an hour plus to get…that too a very disappointing one…?

Location close by the beach.Pakora and room service tea and coffee excellent.Breakfast overlooking sea v enjoyable

Paneer not very fresh- neither was aloo with dosa so could not eat.Roof top restaurant closed which was disappointing.

The place is near to beach

Ac chillness not sufficient, the room was hot thou ac is on. Will be better if they replace AC.

Nice location, situated at walking distance from the beach; Quite calm

The hotel is homely with friendly stuff. The standard deluxe room was ok, but next time I will certainly book the superior rooms as those are lot better (more space, light and airy). Bed ok, linen clean.Bathroom basic but ok. Clean. Cistern and all taps work.The location of the hotel is excellent as the quite beach is only 100 m away. The hotel has a shack on the beach.The food in the restaurant linked to the hotel is just excellent, can easily recommend it.

The room was not ready when we arrived although the advertised check-in time was earlier.The room was little smelly and no wardrobes!

Best factor is location. Hardly 2 mins away from beach. Rooms were clean and average.

Overall check in process could be better. There was a lot of back & forth discussion on which room to allocate. Secondly, food - considering taste- is expensive. Restaurant is average. Breakfast was bad.

It was definitely worth the money. The rooms were clean and the staff were quite cooperative and were also there when we needed them, without any delay. The breakfast options could have been a little bit more diverse but overall the experience was worth it

It's a 3/4 minute walk to the beach ; since we visited on week-day, the beach was almost empty and the experience was really peaceful. Breakfast as well as overall food was great. There is a rooftop restaurant as well as one near the beach, 2 min walk from hotel. Extremely courteous staff. Humble, clean rooms, nothing fancy, but decent at this budget. There is parking space for 3/4 cars inside the gate and space for more outside around the property

The area gets real dark post evening and there are not enough streetlights. It's ideal for people visting in large groups
