Very good dealings and presentable

Hiya and Poonam were very helpful and ensured the check in / check out was very smooth. Shout out to the guy who helped me when I went to the Novotel beside the previous night.

Margareth is amazing! From a personal note, a personal phone call to check if everything's going ok, resolving a billing issue, to catching up at checkout, it was wonderful to see her in action. Overall the staff was extremely courteous.

Price/value for money for a business traveller.

Nothing, it was the only hotel near my office and I was stuck here for 4 days.

The rooms have no space at all, denied upgrading and not at all worth the price they're asking. Poor service and rude staff. One staff entered in my room without my permission or knocking the door using his key. Not good breakfast either. Overall very bad, won't recommend. On top it was such a bad location, that any cab services used decline.

The location was close to Ecospace where my office is. Decent food options.

The cleanliness and hygiene of the hotel was pretty poor. The price per night was also exorbitant.

as soon as you leave the hotel you are on a very messy road - no way for pedestrians - strongly recommended to take a cab.

the room was a bit smelly. perhaps because of the air humidity? the staff was not helpful - as i asked for help regarding other restaurants I was just sent to the novotel next door. needed to get a local sim-card. Also here no help at all, even not able to google for some shop. If there would not have been a friend to help me I would have been lost with this need.

- Staff is rude and provided incorrect information at the reception.- Room locker was non functional - Staff needs to be trained on how to behave and provide the correct information

Rooms are small and somewhat dated

Breakfast was delicious and had good verity for north, south and continental menu. Staff serving food was quick in action and serviced special cooked meals at my desk. Guest are served well and very professionally at this hotel. Additionally, Room service was prompt and food served was delicious.

Water sink in bathroom was little less effective and got flooded quickly.No other issue as hotel staff is quick in taking action to ensure guest comfort.

Room was neat and clean.. Loundry and house keeping staff were nice. Except receiption personnels, all were fine.

Staff and their behaviour.. Especially the reception staffs. They treated me differently just because I booked the room through booking.com. For Check in, they made me wait for an hour despite saying I didnt have my lunch. They said we cannot help you on any changes since it was booked through booking.com. Overall the behaviour was felt thoroughly unprofessional. Will never prefer IBIS again.

Location, staff and comfort

Rooms are slightly small, could have been more spacious

I liked the location, the proximity to the tech park. Room was fine, nothing fancy, very similar to other IBIS hotels. The bed was comfortable and pillows were soft. Water pressure in the bathroom was good. Overall a comfortable stay. You can park the car at the basement and directly take the lift to your room, something that adjacent Novotel lacks. Staffs were very welcoming especially Sarmistha. Usual requests for plates, valet parking, weighing the luggages were done promptly. Exceptional requests such as early check in and late check out requests were also granted. The cancellation policy is very generous, however, I think guests should be offered a lower rate for prepaid non-cancellable bookings. Something that is missing for both IBIS and Novotel at outer ring road.

Hotel:In most places around the world including other locations in Bengaluru, IBIS is generally a 3 star hotel, however, particularly this one is rated 4 star. This allowed them to charge at least 30% more nightly price for same amenities/ room size and general services as compared to the other IBIS hotel in Bengaluru. However, the hotel itself is still 3 star category. Therefore it is not a good value for money. About the Room 629:The room generally lacks privacy. The door directly faces the bed. Also window glasses are not tinted. The curtain is very basic, something that is not expected from a 4 star rated hotel. The tv could not be turned off, it would turn itself on after sometime and only gets turned off after prolonged idle time. The shower head could not be moved upwards. Unless you want to use it as a hand shower, you need to be less than 150cm to be able to shower like that. I'd have liked a bottle of moisturiser along with hand wash soap, similar to adjacent Novotel. Breakfast:It is clear the hotel primarily caters to domestic business travellers. Therefore western options in the breakfast menu is very limited. The quality is also poor for the 4 star standard. For example the bread provided was simple casino white/ brown. They were not fresh. If you don't like south indian breakfasts in general, then your options are very limited. If you want to taste freshly made tea or coffee, they generally come with a little bit of sugar (I think). Services:Although services were generally good. The services around restaurant is particularly bad. Adjacent Novotel was managed much better. Sometimes empty plates were not taken up and other times, if you leave your plate to get something else, it will be taken up. It took 15 mins to get fresh set of cups because they ran out of it.
