Angsana Oasis Spa and Resort

The staff was very friendly and co-ordial. Spa was good. Room size was good. Room service was good. Facilities were good. Food was good. Indoor sports area was good.

Food was expensive at buffet. The swimming pool can be heated, as in Bangalore it becomes very unusable. Extra charges for steam, Jacuzzi and sports was a little let down.

Beautiful, peaceful property

Food is not good at all. Even the portions for the prices, do not match. Food has to be improved. The only thing that was disappointing during the stay.

The property is well maintained and the gardens are absolutely beautiful, it was nice to walk around and relax. Staff are incredibly helpful and we’re very eager to assist.

The property was well maintained with lots of greenery. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Comfortable stay with good and heigenic food options. The breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffet has a very good spread. Even the a-la-carte menu is fairly good with options for all ages. The property is wheelchair friendly. You need to ask for a ground floor room while booking in case you are traveling with people who can't climb stairs as there is no lift.

The quality of the wheelchairs are bad. High time they change the wheelchairs. If you are over 70kgs in weight, I would recommend getting your own heavy-duty wheelchair. The passages are rough stone in places where a normal wheelchair may not be sufficient. The billing process was not smooth and riddled with errors.

Wide options during buffet Breakfast and greenery around the accommodation quarters and overall cleanliness of the resort.

We had booked a 2 bedroom suite for a family of four members. Even after requesting for one hour early checkin and receiving confirmation from the resort through booking.com the room was not kept ready. The reception staff Mr. Apoorva was rude enough to say that checkin time was 2pm. However he did not have any justification when informed that the resort had accepted our early checkin request.The ACs installed in living room and the bedrooms were very old, outdated and made a loud noise throughout the night. In one of the bathrooms the water was not draining out while taking bath. Even their housekeeping staff could not solve the issue. Both bathrooms had issues with hot water supply. We had to bear with lukewarm water during winter season. The reception staff Ms Mohini makes it a point to give reminder calls to all room guests reminding guests of their checkout timing. This looks very cheap. Too many issues as mentioned. Very much a hyped up property. Standards not as per four star ratings as mentioned in the booking.com app. There are plenty of other better options to stay in and around Bangalore city for the exorbitant price this resort charges. Completely Avoidable.

Beautiful property, comfortable rooms, friendly and very helpful staff. Mr. Anthony from the reservations team was super kind and is a very polite gentleman.

It’s an expensive property. Works out to quite a a day.

1. Indoor play area was small but good options like chess, carrom boards.2. Rooms are clean and good sized. The landscape is well maintained and looks great.3. Lot of effort out to brighten up the place for Xmas with lights, trees and decorations.4. Spa is expensive but Ayurvedic treatment by Shireesh was very good.5. Gym was very good and has decently equipped.6. Reception staff are very polite and friendly. Staff in general were very hospitable- the kitchen staff, parking staff, room service were all kind.

1. First floor rooms have balconies but the spiral staircase to get there is a bit of a task with elderly and small children. Also, the balcony grill is too wide and you cannot leave kids in attended as they can very easily slip and fall down. Request management to consider some safety measures for peaceful stay. 2. You have to pay extra for steam, sauna facilities which doesn’t sit well after paying so much for the rooms. 3. You have to pay extra for outdoor activities which again doesn’t sit well and is not value for money.

We had an excellent vacation in Angsana. The room was very comfortable, food was great and the staff was very courteous, especially Mr.Ravi who handles the swimming pool and other facilities like Tennis/Basketball etc.

Location, cleanliness, greenery and pool..

The room was quite spacious and had all necessary facilities. It as clean , well maintained , had comfortable bed , sofas, an nice big TV.Room service was very prompt , even giving us bottled water late in the night.They extended the breakfast for half an hour extra since my wife was late tending to our daughter.

The food menu was not having a lot of options. The in room service was quite expensive. All other outdoor activities were also pricey.

There is no ala carte option in the lunch. The stray cats are coming and eating from the buffet display. I really don't like this unhygienic.

Passable

The service was really bad. Our water bootles got empty and we called front desk for water refill. But nobody came to provide water. Wifi was not working and for that also complaint was raised and none of the staff came to check

1. Staff were very prompt, courteous and lovely. Special mention to Chandru who did our room service.2. The food - options and taste were great. The staff and kitchen were kind enough to alter a dish in our menu to suit our preferences3. The swimming pool is huge and beautiful. I regret not spending more time in it4. Quite a few complimentary savory snacks, a couple of chocolates and soft drinks were made available in the room.

This is going to be a long list of suggestions. We stayed in room 1016, so some of this might be specific to that1. The master bedroom had a strong stench of sewage 2. We were quite shocked that the balcony of sorts has a fairly high fall and no barricade. It is 100% an accident waiting to happen3. No blow dryer in either of the bathrooms - in a four star resort4. S-I-X plastic bottles of water for one room. The amount of plastic for a place trying to be sustainable is disappointing. Reusable bottles, jugs, bigger bottles - several alternatives5. The swimming pool, because it is outdoors collects a lot of dead insects and nettles from plants. It went into our swimsuits and poked us6. The seating near the pool - the cabanas' covers haven't been washed/ changed in a long time and had stains. Same with the room and pool towels. Had them exchanged a few times7. The television's audio quality felt like it was from the 1970s and was extremely garbled. There are very few cable TV channels. No OTT platform etc. We didn't try chrome cast or usb, so we're unsure of whether that's an option8. One of the two key cards given to us stopped working promptly after 5mins9. Bar menu prices were quite steep10. Inflexible with early check in or late check out.These points matter as you are paying at least 14k (for two people for a night), for a room that feels like a generally well maintained apartment for 15-20 hours. We hope they take this feedback in their stride and work on it

The landscaping was beautiful. Loved the food. Had breakfast and dinner on both days. Very helpful staff. The Suite was very spacious.

The fruit basket in the room could have more fresher and better fruits. Otherwise all else was on point.
