The location of the hotel is probably one of the best in the city with a amazing park where you can walk!The room is spacious with all required amenities.Eating at the Taj is a must, at Machan with exceptional personal as Divesh for example, or Blue Ginger for vietnamese cuisine

Great property. Staff were exceptional. Overall stay was really good .

My experience with the reservations team was really bad. When I tried to extend my booking by a day which was booked through booking.com., I couldn't do it at all even after contacting the reservations team directly on phone. Finally had to extend it after reaching there whiuch ended up in changing the flight tickets etc.

Secluded environment in the city center. Very kind and attentive staff. Beautiful historic property.

This was our first outing with our baby and we were excited but nervous. But the hotel staff made our stay very comfortable.Our experience began before reaching the hotel, when we talked to KC from the front desk and shared our preferences. We had booked a luxury garden view room for a night. KC was patient and understanding, and told us not to worry and upgraded us to the Taj Club Room that suited our preferences better. Also, had our hard bed and crib placed in the room prior to our arrival. On arrival, we were recieved warmly by Ayushi, the guest relations manager, who also explained to us the facilities. She even got us a little wooden toy for our little one. The property and room was beautiful. Loved the little chocolates placed in the room! We wanted the crib's base level to be raised higher which wasn't possible but the housekeeping made it happen using an extra mattress. Had our lunch at Machan and the food was great. Our server was too kind and served us as quickly as possible since our baby was getting cranky. I'm sorry that I can't remember his name but he was the friendly man with a moustache and a lovely warm smile ?We enjoyed everything about our short stay from the room, property, and food. Having worked as a hotelier myself, I believe I have high expectations of hospitality and I am pleased to say I wasn't one bit disappointed. Did not know there was something called Sunset ritual. Would have liked to be informed.Can't wait to plan a longer stay soon! ?

The Taj staff was exceptional and highlighted why even big local/foreign brands can’t compete with Taj’s hospitality. Your staff sets the brand. Pretty much every single staff member from arrival to exit made a personal effort to make our stay enjoyable and seamless. Karan, the Manager, was absolutely brilliant and worked out all the (crazy) requests we threw his way. All his efforts were much appreciated. The buggy team, housekeeping and the gardening staff too were always proactively asking if we needed any assistance, showed us around the property and told us anecdotes. We loved our experience and will definitely be keen to come back and recommend the West End to others. Thanks for everything!

One area of improvement would be the food. Blue Ginger was great, as were the other restaurants but reckon could add more diversity.

Amazing place, located inside a forest in the middle of the city, the staff are excellent

No elevator to the second floor, m mother had problem with her knee, so it was pretty hard for her to use the stairs.

Restaurant poor clean also the garden not clean as before. Insect & mosquitoes too much in the garden.

The Taj Ambience and oldest property in the town but well maintained.

The lush green garden, extra ordinary stay with an upgrade because we had to wait. But it was worth it. Staff is extra ordinary there

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay for 5 nights. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. In particular, Mr.Nadarajan, who met us and guided us at the airport, and even at departure. Mr Arjun at front desk and Miss KC, who went out of her way to help us with the room change requested. Mr.Diwakar, the bartender who really made us feel welcome. The Machan restaurant staff were also very attentive and helpful at breakfast each day. The food in both Machan and Loya is superb. The spa, though a little expensive, was also an amazing experience.

The property is resort style and open facing. There appeared to be two problems when it rained while we were there. First the floors became wet, and the floors are non-grip tiles, rendering it slippery and potentially difficult to walk safely when wet. Second, the risk of mosquitoes in wet weather and high temperatures, given the lush vegetation. Also, we ate at the Vietnamese restaurant and we felt the service could have been a little more attentive. And the food standard was mediocre. We were also surprised at the dress code, when diners were in singlet and shorts. It was stated as fine dining, as was the price.

Beautiful , peaceful and big property. While close to the action you feel like you are tucked away in a forest away from a bustling city.A special shout out to the concierge service, especially Mohammed, who looked after me and treated me as if I was the only guest, which I was not. He was absolutely brilliant and went out of his way (as far as going to fetch a RCB jersey for me) to make my stay memorable.

It's everything and then so more...excellent facilities

Breakfast was not as expected despite the wide spread variety..food that was supposed to be hot were not heated..

Atmosphere surrounded by greens, the beautiful, clean and comfortable room, the professional service.

We stayed here to start off our honeymoon and the staff surprised us with a cake and flowers in the room.

Janvi at front desk took care of all our needs. She upgraded us to a suite. It was my best hospitality experience in Bangalore so far.

The jacuzzi wasn't working properly.

The character and charm. If you want a glitzy new hotel go elsewhere. Staff delightful

The serene environment (the greenery, beautiful garden, building and rooms) in the midst of chaotic Bangalore. The staff were also wonderful and made sure we had a comfortable stay.
