Hotel Southern Star Bangalore

location, china bowl was convenient, good staff (not the most friendly)

Breakfast was just OK, Window faced a wall - why even have a window, some Sadhu entered the hotel and tried to ask for alms and talk religion, taxi service to airport is 3 times Uber,

Breakfast fare was decent, though not much variation from day to day. Waiters at breakfast were very professional and helpful.Coffee was decent. But do try to provide proper filter coffee as an option.

No dryer in the bathroom. No hand towels in the bathroom.Constant noise of the pressure pumps throughout the night.

Great location, walkable to MG Road, Brigade Rd and Cubban Park. Good front desk people. Some miscommunication happened about a Swiggy Delivery.

The comfortable room, bed and pillows, restroom and it’s shower, the excellent attention in the breakfast and it’s restaurant. The location.

The shortage of toilet paper.

The location, the bed and pillows, the dinner buffet.

That the room service often forgot to replace the tee bags and the small towel in the bathroom.

Location, staff, and breakfast spread

Parking

Excellent location. Very courteous staff. Breakfast was great.

Staff is the best among the whole experience, From Managers to reception to bell boys.... everyone offered personalized service.Location is great

Mattress needs upgrade, springs are poking.

The rooms were amazingly large and clean staff were all wonderful and very helpful. Great location walking distance to a lot of restaurants and bars

The meldew smell in the lobby

The location was very convenient for my stay. The staff were friendly.

The room smelled humidity, and there was a water leak inside. Charged me for water that I didn't know would be charged. Miscommunication about airport pickup

Good room size and in-room facilities, good food, and nice satff

the window was opening/facing very close to the wall of another building.

Check-in and first night stay was good. Gym was ok with limited equipments. Breakfast was good, should have been better if they'd range of choice to choose from.

Not sure if it was maintenance, the constant knocking on the level above woke me up at 6:30am on second morning - very unpleasant. Very limited live counter and heavy on South Indian dishes.

Went for TCS World 10K Run. Walking distance to the start point and finish point. People are nice. Value for Money. Location good.

Mattress not very comfy.

This was a comfy hotel in a nice area of Bangalore. Staff were super nice and the bed was comfy.

Our window looked onto a concrete wall about 1m away, not the nicest..The top floor restaurant was closed for renovations, which was a shame. Would have been nice to have somewhere in the hotel to go and relax that's not your room. Breakfast was ok, hard to get a nice cup of tea. Southern Star Mysore is quite a bit nicer in the hotel facilities, rooms are similar.

Value and location

Room ac controls and mattresses need improvement

Buffet breakfast/lunch/dinner was excellent.

Smoking in no smoking floor where rooms are located. Hotel was unable or was reluctant to solve the issue.

Great location, staff were amazing - Nung went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The buffet breakfast was delicious, and the rooms were clean and comfortable.

Excellent staylocation is perfectly phenomenal Food is deliciousstaffs are very helpful.

The location is great. Staff is courteous as always

Property staff who have access to booking.com guest requests does not bother to read. I wish they read what the guests actually require.

The restaurant and its spreads were good. Loads of healthy options. The fitness centre was decent. The location is great. BUT, what's the point of a good location when the place you stay is going to be awful!

THE Worst 4 star hotel for the price I paid. The door opens straight to the bed, making you feel as if its a lodge - does not make you feel private. The room, it's amenities are not worth even for a 2 star hotel. The bathroom shower area is very small - hardly 3 feet by 3 feet. No place to keep your toiletries while taking a shower. The shower is so slow that it literally trickles. Towels were very dirty as hell and full of stains. The ironing board was super dirty and full of stains as well. The hot water kettle was dirty inside and had a strange smell (see all the photos).
