The location is very convenient if you want to visit the BIEC. The breakfast was good,

The rooms are ageing. There are signs of wear and tear all over. The bathrooms need major renovation. There is no amenity kit provided. Towels quality can be improved.

Entry to the hotel is a little difficult for cabs.

Staff was great and location was great. They also gave 2 litre water complimentary when most hotels give 1 litre.

Bangalore Gate was a very comfortable stay. I was in Bangalore for a day in between travel, and stuck looking for a hotel at 4am to spend the day (my previous hotel had cancelled at the last minute). Initially Bangalore Gate said they were full and could only check me in at 12pm. So I found a public place to hang out in the meantime. Then they themselves called me at 7am saying that a guest had checked out early and they're ready for me! They charged a not-unreasonable fee for early check-in, and I paid it - it still made all the difference for me on a difficult day..The porter was very helpful in getting all my heavy luggage to the room. The free breakfast was delicious, and the room was comfortable. They also sent up a decent meal through room service.Not too much else to say about the stay itself, except the it got the job done neatly and comfortably.

The price was somewhat high, but I had to book at the last minute possible, and apparently there was also a big event that weekend filling up the hotels, so it's understandable I guess.

The hotel authorities told us to vacate the room by 10 am telling the reason,if booked by online and thru booking.com we have to sheck out at 10 am.and not at 12 pm like any normal chk uts. Just now i am told by the legal counsel of the hotel that the chk out policy for the hotel is only 10 am for all bookings if done on line.,either by booking .com or whatever source.

Nice clean & spacious rooms,staff is very helpful complementary breakfast they serve is good and quality of food is also quite nice.food quality in clay resto is one of the best I had in past days.location is city centre all shopping places are walkable & major attraction places are nearby of bangalore.will definitely stay again whenever will visit bangalore.

Staff took care of us right from checkin time.Breakfast was great.Rooms were practical and super clean.

I dont usually give reviews but i feel compelled to write one as per our experience during our short stay at Hotel Bangalore Gate The hotel is nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived at the airport and until our arrival at the hotel, everything was a breeze. We travelled as a family and we got exactly what we needed from our much needed break which is extra care , attention and relaxation. Our children in particular enjoyed so much as their staff is very accommodating and always go out of their way in order for us to feel comfortable. All were equally excellent as well,this has to be the best hotel in Bangalore in terms for service and facilities. Will definitely come back again soon!

The hotel have spacious rooms. They have very friendly staffs. The property located in the premium location and easy accessible to public and private transportation. Recommended for both business and personal travellers.

The hotel is excellent. I’ve never experienced such a impeccable customer service! From the breakfast staff to the house keeping and front desk. They made me feel welcomed and would all go above and beyond to accommodate the guests needs.The bedrooms are spacious and modern.I enjoyed the food in restaurants too.I highly recommend the hotel if you’re staying in Bangalore.

At 9pm about 60students arrived at the hotel, who occupied the hallway, shouted, and played music until 1am. At 11pm, I asked the students to leave or be quiet. "Take it chill" was the answer of a Sikh man, annoyed that a woman would ask him something. I called reception for help who claimed they would handle the situation but didn't act. I called 5 times to check in. I barely slept and had to get up at 5am. The lack of professionalism and laziness of the staff to handle this issue ruined my stay. The breakfast was pretty unhygienic: the butter was melting in a huge container, which is re-used for several weeks. The man working upstairs was kind and brought chai to my hotel room.

lovely rooftop terrace. very good food. comfortable beds. everything worked well. very helpful staff on checkin.

Breakfast was good. There should be more power points in the room. Provide at least one point near the bed.

Free Wifi did not work properly.

Staff and service was excellent. Receptionist Mr. Jayaram is a lively, cheerful, friendly person. No words to explain his hospitality.

If we check IN before 12pm collecting amt ,max train ,bus will reach mng so 24hrs check out /IN will be goof

Location is very close to railway station and other facilities. Rooms were old and size is very short. A/c was very old and was not working sometime. Only free channels was available in the cable. In one of my rooms booked, kettle was not working. Wash room is very near to door, it is very discomfort. Food is good. House keeping and room service was very good.One of the front office staff/manager was not so pleasant but the other guy was very polite and helping.

Rooms could be better and staffs can be more pleasant and freindly particularly bell boy and front office staff/manager in the first day of our accomodation.

Rooms are okay. But we found bed bugs in the bed. Later hotel change the room when we complained.They were very helpful in dealing with that. Hotel staffs dealth with the issue very professionally.

Great and really helpful stuff, helped me recharge my sim card and were very generous overall. Room was good, comfy bed, good location.
