Breakfast had limited vegan options. Smoothie was not offered. Location was good for BIEC Exhibition Centre.

Basically towels, cushions, bed sheets and other linens were pretty old and not upto the mark.

The property was okay; it was good and clean, but the room was not the same as what was shown during the booking.

The staff was good and cooperative

The location is helpful being relatively in the centre of the city. The ambiance was calming and peaceful, yet warm and welcoming. The room was neat, clean, well maintained, well-furnished and comfortable. Overall, excellent stay.

A very minor irritant was a lack of a hand towel in the bathroom.

Worst experience in my entire life..

I have stayed in Citadel sarovar portico for 5 nights. 13 February to 18 th February. I have experienced worst hotel rooms in my entire life. I don’t know wether I am staying in top hotel chains or in government circuit house. Lot of cockroaches in washroom . Rooms are not maintained. Cockroaches in dining area. It is Unhygienic property . I have wasted my half lac rupees for this kind of property. Food is not there. Coffee machines are not working. We can not sleep because of the cockroaches. And we have a 1 year old baby with us.

The stay at Hotel was a comfortable one and good. The location is also prime with good connectivity. Overall has a Pleasant Stay.

For those reading my review - Please De-link my experience of my stay in the hotel with this part.The number provided by hotel in the booking portal did not respond on time and there are opportune fraudsters trying to make use of this situation by impersonating as hotel staff. The numbers listed in their website were also not responding so i tried an alternate number listed in Google search linked to the hotel and upon calling that guy claimed to be receptionist conveyed saying the need for rooms are all time high he was saying that they got orders to cancel bookings done through Booking.com and other online portals, he also asked me to pay immediately using credit card. The fraudster had all details about the rooms. Lucky for me when i asked what details does he need for booking a room he said card number and CVV, and that's when I identified him as fraudster. This really was an unpleasant experience as this makes one question the authenticity of the online booking portals and Hotels.The hotel must have a proper phone line that will be answered anytime of the day. This is a big disappointment as when large hotel chains such as this are failing to answer its customers on time and not employing people to keep a check on impersonators undermining the trust of its customers.

Room service was decent

The hotel gave me a different room than I had booked and it was only when I pointed it out that they changed the room. In fact they said that their rooms don’t look like the photos on booking.com and said I should take it up with the website - that was quite ridiculous. Room cleanliness was bad despite telling the staff. The staff wasn’t slow to respond. Rooms and bathrooms were run down.Facilities were in a bad shape - locker was not working, hangars in the wardrobe were broken, staff wasn’t too responsive. Breakfast buffet was very averageMy room overlooked a flyover and there was constant traffic noise.

The staff were impolite during check-in apparently a single woman can't take a room alone it seems. They wanted my business card and I was not interested in giving it as I was not traveling as part of work.

Following are the areas need improvements:(i) Washroom was not good, it was stinking. After my request, they arranged room fresheners.(ii) Washroom's exhaust fan was not working.(iii) Washroom's bathing door was not moving properly due to shower installation.(iv) Room's light (specially sofa area) was not adequate, depressive light.(v) Hotel's Wifi speed was too slow, I have to connect my Laptop though my Mobile's Hotspot.

Location was just perfect. Very near to Bus station and railway station

A.C never worked. Repeatedly complained to the duty receptionist but invain. If you're looking for a good A.C room, then this is not the place. Attitude of the receptionist wasn't upto mark, during check in. During check out, we wanted to meet the manager on duty, but in the reception we were told that it was a Sunday and he is off duty

Very clean, good service by all staff, food was tasty. Good service by Miss Nima at the restaurant.

The reception staff is inexperienced and irritating. They don’t mention house rules clearly in booking.com and cancelled my stay on arrival. I had to make last minute booking at The Park, because the receptionist some how remembered that they don’t allow unmarried couple even with non local ID. That guy in reception is really rude & unprofessinal. Anyways, choose any good 4/5 star hotel than this place & protect your peace of mind

This property said they will not give rooms as they have cancelled my booking. They also said they have sent email to Booking.com about cancellation.
