Nahar Heritage Hotel

Nothing. Its not a 4 star hotel. Its a local lodge.Extremely disappointed

Washroom not clean.No fresh towelsOld bedsheetsA/c not workingFan switch was broken and we couldn’t fix it. And we couldn’t adjust according to our need.Room was not dusted properly, i got skin rashes.Entrance sewage was leaking and it was stinking.

Health and Safety Risk.. Beware!

First we booked a Double Superior room, through Booking.com and we were given a twin executive? (Small room)The room is very small, run down, well pretty much falling apart. Electrical switches dangerously hanging off the wall. We have stayed in better homestays in Tamil Nadu for a 10th of the 4000 rupees we were charged here. The room was only made up for one person: 1 cup, 1, glass, 1 towel. When we complained to the desk, they said we had to upgrade.. Ha Ha. To top it all and further cause me more stress, there was NO HOT WATER!.. This is such an unprofessional way to run a hotel. I'm surprised you are still in business. The only good thing about it, is we were leaving the next day.

This is an old hotel but very good. I had superior double, good size, clean, kettle, fridge, AC & fan. Hotel in excellent location for walking to main CBD shopping streets & main tourist, gardens, parks & interesting sights. Very good breakfast, mainly Indian but plenty fruit, toast & jam.

I loved the cleanliness and staff were well behaved.Only lights inside the room was dull. One was not working.Should have been little bright Otherwise no issues as such.Breakfast was excellent.Locality was was very nice and clean environment.Definitely will plan next visit in the same hotel.

Loved everything

It was clean and all the amenities were provided. The property is quite old however they have maintained it .

Rooms are not clean and the bed is set old and the bathroom is not clean

Please please avoid

Everything.Very old and smelly rooms, furnitures, fixtures, all are broken and under repair. Nobody seems to be in charge. Very very smelly and no upkeep / maintenance.

Food and location

Requires some maintenance as the building is getting older.

The position

Breakfast was almost no existant; they kept asking me to pay in advance a lot of times in spite of my booking reservation. They even said they would cancel the reservation but when I arrived there they didn't even mention the problem

Clean bedding. After an argument about room size and additional beds, we were upgraded for free. Staff generally friendly and helpful, other than at breakfast.

2nd larger room was only larger because of the balcony. Not helpful when we needed the space for an additional bed. 850/- per night for each extra bed is far too much. Breakfast was poor in quality, choice and staffing.

Australian traveller here for a week - I think all the 10's I checked above tell you about my experience here. What was likely a quite upscale design in the 1930's when constructed has mellowed with age into the perfect location for travellers who like some character, don't expect everthing to be perfect, and enjoy connecting with the folks who run the place. Great value all round. Oh, and the included breakfast dosa's and coffee are a delish and perfect start to the day :)

The property is in shambles and so are the services. I was given a dirty room which was not even made to check in. The AC doesn’t cool, the bathroom is in a bad condition. They don’t even have room slippers to provide and their linen and towels look totally worn out and dirty

Break fast was great. Staff very cooperative Front office manager took action right way if any complains. the manger was always available even for small issues. The front hall spacious and clean

i HAVE NO COMPLAINS . iF SOME THING WAS REQUIRED THEY WOULD DO ITi HAD PROBLEM WITH THE TOILET THE MANAGER CAME HIMSELF AND ORGANIZED THE JOB TO BE DONE

Breakfast and location were good.

Place was shut down when we came and we had to wake up the staff. However, I don’t think it was their fault as they were clearly being made to work multiple shifts. The hotel management should stop doing this and instead have a night shift working.

Outstanding location within easy walking distance of Church St, MG Rd, Cubbon Park and M.Chinnaswammy Stadium. It’s an older hotel but has charm and character. The staff, led by Balaraj, couldn’t have been friendlier and more helpful. I stayed for 11 nights and would definitely stay again.

The breakfast is quite limited.

Hotel bed sheet condition and it's very old property.Food and breakfast also not good.

I only like the location and parking availability of this hotel, rest everything filthy and very bad condition including bathrooms and taps they used. Overall very bad experience and not at all value for money. Never stay there in future

Location and staff accommodative. Need hassle free guest & friends meeting in the room.

Outside Guests/friends restricted to meet the in-house guest.My room AC made noise.
