Poor location and too much noise to consider a peaceful stay.

Good breakfast. coupon was given for nearby hotel which had authentic mangalorian food.

The step to the bathroom was a bit too high. The group was of elderly ladies so was little inconvenient.

Impressed by just looking at the room ambience...very clean and well maintained.very good staff and service....I should not miss to tell about the curry work restaurant in the same building ...couldn't try any other restaurants after eating here and we ended up all 2 days eating there....

Felt little over priced ..

Room was neat and clean.

We have to call reception and get whatever we needed. Basic necessity like tissue paper, plate and spoon was not available in the room.Car parking area was stinking and not clean. Entry to car parking was very congested.

Location was good. And the auto driver who dropped me in the morning said when there are so many hotels in manglore why have you booked here... And that made the worst expectation...

I made the booking and paid the full amount through gpay. And during the checkin the receptionist denied the room. Asked for the reason and he said the payment is not recieved. I showed him the booking confirmation but still he denied the room. And had to pay extra to get the room since it was early morning as I booked it for early checkin. And during the checkout I had to pay again since the receptionist still said he didnt get the payment. Its the worst experience that I have gone through from booking.com and Hotel Karuna. I maild to the booking website but no responce on the refund. Called the customer care but not responding. All was in vain. Will never book through booking.com.

Breakfast , AC wasn't working

Booked for 3 days. However checked out in a day. Made a mistake of booking for 3 days. At the same rate was in a good hotel nearby , where breakfast was Fabolous.

very narrow entrance, old style lift, no bellboy in the night, breakfast was from a very dirty restaurant next door. I will never suggest this place for this value.

The location was brilliant and the room was quiet. The aircon was wonderful in the heatwave, and the hotel restaurant was superb. The shower was good and the room and bathroom were clean. Room service was amazing - I recommend the coffee.

There was no toilet paper so we had to buy our own and we didn't like the Indian breakfast. Each day you have to get a voucher for breakfast which wasn't at the hotel restaurant but a cafe next door. Their food is fine, but I had been very ill and just wanted something like toast or omelette for breakfast, which wasn't available.

The room was clean and hygiene. The housekeeping team were cleaning the corridors quite often. The management was very polite. Since we travelled with a group of three families, we were given rooms adjacent to each other.

The parking space was less, infact I didn't find anywhere to park the vehicles.

we booked 8 rooms and after we checked out, we realised that, 2 of our members have left their watches in the rooms, so we called hotel to check the rooms and they said that there was nothing in those rooms, it clearly states that the housekeeping staff has stolen those watches, so the property owners have no control over the housekeeping staff, this is not at all professional and we are highly disappointed with booking at this property.just wanted to give one of example here, just one day before we checked out from one of the home-stays in malpe and there by mistake I have forgot my silver bracelet worth of rs. 5000, I have totally forgot about it, and we got call from property manager that they have found the bracelet and he came up up to Udupi to return it to me, that’s kind of trust we are expecting from a big hotels like Karuna but sadly we are highly disappointed to book the rooms here.
