Hotel Diego de Almagro Chillan

Great location, clean, free secure parking.

We visited in the winter and couldn't lower the heat. It was quite warm so we had to open a window which wasn't ideal because we have little kids.

Great location with very friendly people working, also very cheap compared to the US.

Location and price..

Spacious clean and quiet rooms

No enough gym equipment and no easy to use.

Nice room, rather small but still comfortable. Place looks new, very clean. Kind of simple but good value.

Bathroom could use additional supplies. Only shampoo/conditioner and 1 small soap, but still very clean. .

Parking and facilities in general

Price - Quality.The price for a room is excessive for what I received.Price of restaurant is also high.Location is not so friendly, surroundings are very poor on sevices, restaurants and amenities.

No alcohol-free beer, food at dinner was very poor, steaks looked like they had been defrosted in a microwave, no tea or coffee option in room, 2 bottles of water and 2 cokes in fridge. Terrible location. Nothing at all nearby.

Restaurant is pretty good...easy and predictable place to eat. Though the breakfast is large and satisfying, it's predictable...exactly like that of other Diego de Almagro hôtels in the chain (I've done 4 now). I had a very good late afternoon dinner there as well, though service was sketchy at that hour.

Nothing I can think of. I wouldn't call it cozy or romantic, but it's an island of calm and quality and predictability in a city/region that is undergoing so much change.

The fact that there is no correct way to get an invoice, but that is due to Chillean Laws, there is not much to do

The underground parking was full. I was redirected to an informal unguarded plot a few houses away. My car has been damaged in the night during the stay. Very frustrating

The hotel was fully booked, mainly by heroic firefighters from around the world on a mission to help the Chilean fire fighters and CONAF. The staff of the hotel managed the unusual flow in a great manner.

Good facilities.

They didn't recognize my reservation at first and I had to wait for a while to solve it.
