    • Location is wonderful. Nice breakfast. Direct access to the lake beach (kayaks included in the stay)
    • nothing new, its location and its view from my room. furthermore, with the window open, to be able to hear the water of the Nahuel Huapi lapping against the rocky coast: bonus maximus.the hotel felt like a grand mountain chalet, and to sit by the fireplace, caressing and nurturing a glass of malbec in one hand, and holding a book on the other: not priceless, for there is a price, but pretty wonderful indeed; hence my rating.

It’s nice and the rooms are good

Room service is not 24 hours and it’s far from restaurants and grocery stores to where delivery apps won’t accept your order

Excellent staff and place! I got a lake view room and strongly recommend it. Amazing view for waking up and during all day.

LA cascada casa Patagonia was a great place to stay in Bariloche. The staff are helpful. Our room was clean. The breakfast was good as well.

The only thing would be the location is not very convenient. If you have or rent a car this is not an issue. That being said, the property of the hotel and the surrounding areas are all very nice.

    Its position and views.

The room was noisy, you could hear the conversations of people in both adjoining rooms. The Wine room area noise travelled through the corridor, noisy until 1am. The outdoor balcony chairs were dirty, if an area is booked and paid for it should be fit for purpose. I cleaned down a chair before using it with a towel from the room, it was all I had. The towel was pretty dirty so I was glad I hadn’t sat straight on it. I received a personal WhatsApp later that day advising towels were for body use only and dirty towels needed extra washing, basically a telling off I didn’t appreciate. Nobody came and cleaned the chairs when I responded to their dirty towel issue! No plug in the bathroom sink, the one they gave us when I requested one didn’t fit. Ironically the environmental impact they suggested about increased washing of the towel didn’t seem to bother them when I was wasting water using a plug less sink. The curtains in the room were partially hanging from the track and didn’t pull across properly, one side was longer than the other, obviously not a pair! The chair quality was poor and only one of them. If we wanted to enjoy the view from the room one of us had to sit on the bed.

The staff were very friendly and eager to help us with our requests, be that with restaurant recommendations or drying our newly washed hiking shoes. The rooms were very clean with a beautiful view of the lake.

I don’t think the price corresponds to the condition of the property as it is quite old.

The private beach, the lovely staff, the beautiful view

The room we had was dated and the bathroom needed a lot of TLC

    8RuthPosted on: 12-31-2024

The location and decor was lovely……but as we were there over Christmas it would have been nice to have a more Christmas feel….at least a Christmas Tree! ?

The location of the hotel is fantastic by the Nahuel Huapi Lake and the mountains surrounding the area

The price per night is very high and the services like restaurant and breakfast very poor in quality and variety ...the guy who is in charge of preparing breakfast come dress as he left his house to filled the Juice...no uniform...no gloves ...no fresh Orange Juice but artificial and disgusting in taste...even though the expectations were very high the final experience leave us disappointed ...

Everything, location, staff and superior quality of the house and restaurant, including the cool wine bar. The special attention of the staff makes this location an unique and superbe experience ( by the way a special thanks to the concierge group and Andres , i guess, the Colombian guy for his nice chat during the breakfast

    Nothing, all is great

Breakfast is good, the staff is friendly and helpful, location is beautiful. Nice place to relax. The restaurant is great. I have visited La Cascada twice this year and probably will go again in 2024.

It would be great if the rooms had a little table where to put books, computers, and similar items.

    10AndreyPosted on: 2-18-2023

There is a beautiful waterfall, beach and park in the hotel. There is a cool animation program for children.

The poor breakfast, small portions of dishes at dinner in a restaurant

    9GuimaraesPosted on: 1-16-2023

great service (including recreation for kids), amazing location (private lake beach, small trekking to the cascade)

    sheets were not 100% clean

    5PriitPosted on: 12-23-2022

Good location at the lake, nice view.

This is really not a 4 star hotel and it is really overrated on booking.com The reason is probably the lack of understanding by local customers what a hotel has to meet to get a rating of 9. It is nowhere close to that and this seems to be quite general trend in Argentina. We could start with a many things but perhaps it is enough to say that once you have built a hotel with a nice lake view, you should wash the windows as well. At least once in a while. I do not think they ever did that. Breakfast is usual local kind with lots of white bread. Service is optional. Sometimes works, sometimes not. And so on.

beautiful setting, open fires. start we amazing especially Abdul on reception

parts of it are very dated and wine bar wasn’t open when we were there

    10StuartPosted on: 12-10-2022

Staff were really helpful. My room was one of the more expensive ones but had an amazing view, almost 180 degrees of lake. Lovely setting with hotel's own waterfall

    10StuartPosted on: 11-23-2022

Exceptionally Helpful staff. Quiet location with views of the lake. The higher rooms have really exceptional views (almost 180 degrees of lake and mountain). Is a few km outside of Bariloche which is a plus in my view (I did not like the town centre).

    9ShehrinaPosted on: 11-17-2022

We booked this last minute because we were very unhappy with our other accommodation in Bariloche. The guys at the reception were super welcoming and friendly as soon as we arrived. The room was spacious, had a view of the lake and an incredibly comfortable bed. The booking included a welcome drink, and we were able to enjoy the amazing views from the hotel terrace, but could also go down to the private beach that is part of the facilities. This was easily one of the best places we stayed in Argentina. The breakfast was plentiful. The facilities clean and modern. Would stay again!

Nothing, everything was perfect. Wish we had more time to enjoy the hotel!
