Pros +
- The hotel was great. The location was wonderful- 6 min drive to downtown and not too long on the other side to the different activities. The hotel is well kept and the stuff is nice. The breakfast was great! Nothing like I’ve seen before in Argentina with a lot of options for everyone. The restaurant and room service were good as well
- Expansive. Nice views though view from our room want great. Good bar. Room service was efficient. Breakfast was good but doesn’t start until 7.
- Amazing landscaping, amazing grounds full of beautiful flowers, trees and birds. Well maintained interiors - rooms, hallways and lobby. Great breakfast. Amazing staff.
Cons -
- Spa was a bit disappointing. Staff wasn’t very friendly. The hotel was crazy about robes. We couldn’t get one except for a massage and even then they gave me a hard time. If people steal them, just charge them like other hotels do when they disappear on someone’s watch.
- I liked it all! It was a bit of a walk away from the center but we knew that.
- The noise at the breakfast in the morning and small children running all over the place....The night at the bar, same thing, one family with young kids on steroids, unbelievable noise, even dangerous for the ladies serving , but nobody seems to care. There are other places in Bariloche that state that if you come with children as parents you are responsible for their behavior. The management at Huinid would be well advised to follow this recommendation....

The view from our room window was the best I have ever had from any hotel. Lake, mountains, magical!Good breakfast that was included! Enjoyed the spa area with nice hot tub.

Location is good, like 10 minutes from the center of SC de Bariloche.Good Breakfast, nice Spa, nice room

The property is lovely. We had a very large lake view room. Breakfast was good.
Staff unfriendly. Lights from the front were nearly impossible to block out of our room 106. And mold in grout in bathroom.
Our room was nice but no screens on the windows and I got stung by a wasp! Breakfast was amazing and all wait staff were nice. Views were spectacular!
No window screens.Getting stung by a wasp in the room. There was a hotel shuttle but to nowhere!
Hotel location in quieter area of city excellent. Had lake view room which was beautiful. Hotel driveway took a bit if getting used to when driving but views at top made up fro thisBreakfast exceptional. Everything and more you could ask for
The waiting staff in restaurant at night were not always helpful left one evening without ordering desert as despite trying to get waiting staff attention we were ignored
Breakfast was good, beds were comfortable and the rooms were spacious. The location, outside of town was close enough to be convenient and provides a tranquil environment with great views. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would not hesitate to come back here if I returned to Bariloche.
The breakfast was wonderful - many delicious options and very convenient. Our room had two floors with a lovely view of the lake and mountains. The staff was very helpful and went out of their way to give recommendations and assist with our travel plans. We enjoyed the gym and pool.
The room was carpeted and decor somewhat outdated; however, it was clean. We rented a car and were glad that we had as the walk to town was lengthier than expected and along a busy road.
Bariloche was one of the nicest travel experiences of my life (and I've been travelling for about 30 years). The rooms facing the front of the Huinid Bustillo hotel, like the one I stayed in, have an absolutely amazing view of the lake Nahuel Huapi and the Andes peaks beyond the lake. The breakfast food was very very good, with many choices, including fruits, yogurts and desserts (one day I counted 15 kinds). Fresh and delicious, nourishing too.The hotel has a swimming pool with a nice view of the mountains, spa services and a big terrace where you can enjoy food from the restaurant or just bask in the sun. Also a nice yard, with a big lawn, birds, trees and rose bushes. The entire area is very beautiful, with amazing mountains and lakes, hiking trails and let's not forget the delicious chocolate (better than the Swiss one in my opinion) and ice cream stores spread all over the centre of the town.I didn't want to leave, and I hope will return one day soon, even if it's a long flight from Canada.
Nothing, just wish I could have stayed longer than the 6 days I spent there.
Beautiful view on the mountains !
Hotel is a bit old with carpet in the rooms, but still very clean.
Friendly staff, spacious and clean rooms. The staff were very attentive to our needs and responded quickly to any request. We also had a flight delay which meant we had a change in dates and they were really amazing and understanding even though it was last minute. No air con in all rooms as standard in Bariloche hotels but they provided fans on hot days which was great. Kids loved the pool and jacuzzi. Breakfast was great, a lot of options and fresh. Would definitely go there again.
The bed was really comfortable and the breakfast was good.
We got a view of a stone wall from our window. The other side of the hotel there's an amazing lake but we didn't get the view from our room. The staff isn't really helpful and seems like they don't really care if you enjoy your stay.
I loved the food! Breakfast was always good. The views were breathtaking! I loved the surrounded nature and the gardens. Since we went on Spring, everything started to bloom but you could still see the mountain peaks snowed. Breathtaking views tbh.
The street/road could be paved. Cars created a lot of dust everywhere and that is both annoying and horrid.
Our room had a fantastic view. Breakfast was great. Staff was friendly.
The location, the view, the room and the welcome drink!
Nothing, all good
Friendly helpful staff and a good restaurant. You would struggle to find somewhere this good in Switzerland. A beautiful location on the west side of the town so it was easy to drive to the Cerro Campanario chairlift, the Circuito Chico and Puerto Panuelo. We wished we had stayed here for longer than two nights!
Nothing!
1) good value2) large bedroom, large bed, large en-suite3) view of mountains from the restaurant4) large selection of food at the breakfast buffet (though I would have liked fresh orange juice, a better selection of wholegrain breads, muesli, greek yogurt and better tea).
1) the hotel lacks character2) lack of English channels on TV3) the need to call an Uber to get into town
First class place all around. The room was clean, spacious, well appointed and had a great view. The staff were friendly and helpful. The pool and spa and fitness room are great for relaxing after lots of traveling. The breakfast was over the top good, as was the food in the restaurant in the evening. The hotel is a good value for the price.
