Hotel Mackenna

Horrible experience, bad attention, location, staff, terrible parking service

The room is clean and bright from the natural light off the windows. Coffee and tea are available throughout the day. Good breakfast . Friendly and helpful staff.

Traffic noise constantly.

Very good and comfortable hotel, would recommend staying here. Rooms are spacious and clean. Plenty of space to park your car. The breakfast is one of the best and most varied I have seen with many nice cakes and sweets.

There was some confusion about the price, with multiple prices being mentioned and in the end the receptionist made me pay the IVA, which I do not have to pay as a foreigner. Would have given a 10 if it wasn’t for this.

My wife and I particularly appreciated the staff. They were all friendly and enthusiastic about providing us the very best service possible. Hismar Gonzalez has our special thanks for going out of her way to help us; in her, Hotel Mackenna has an outstanding employee.

We were completely satisfied with the hotel, so have no complaints.

Ten minute taxi ride from airport. Room was comfortable. Breakfast offered choices including eggs. Several restaurants in the area.

Located on a busy main road.

location is good . good breakfast. it is ok for a couple of nights.

one room was with bad smell from bath sewage

Not the first time staying here, the place made a very positive impression, staff are super friendly and made us feel very welcome. Rooms are very comfortable with Air-con / heating. Breakfast is plentiful and very tasty too. Supermarket over the road, short walk to town.

The Braekfast.The design.

They over charged me and lied to me. They charged me VAT although Im not a Chilian citizen, then they told me that booking gave them this price and that I hace to contact booking for the refund, when specking to booking- the hotel told them that I signed the receipt so it means that I knew how much Im paying... On top of that, the charged extra 2500 for the credit card, they said its a "card fee" and it has nothing to do with them directley, but nowhere else in chile I was charged extra for using the card. Covid hurt a lot of businesses, but at the even of the day it doesnt allow you to take advatage of tourists. Facilities:The room was VERY noisy since its located right on the highway, the curtins was so thin that light came in constantly, and we had a light pole right outside the window so it was uncomfortable to sleep. Also, they have very few power outlets in the room.No shower curtin or door.Bottom line: for the price (even before the over charges) you can definetley get something much better.

Lovely secure place to stay, the rooms were very clean, warm and had tea and coffee making facilities. The staff are welcoming and friendly, made us feel like we were with friends. Good parking for our motorcycles, breakfast was good too. Would indeed stay here again if we need to.

clean and friendly staff

the sink of my shower was blocked

Brilliant reception staff - nice room - good for airport

Breakfast - paid extra - total rip off - dont buy it 8 dollars for a piece of tiast with ham OR an egg - not bith !! Rubbish coffee from sachet all stuff you could choose was wrapped in cling film so you couldnt get to it - mean stingy rip off - dissapointed

Eggs made at request, great bread, fruits, juice etc., good coffee, and well attended.

Great experience, the most I value was the comfortable bed and the good shower, essential on any stay to me, and they surprised me with free coffee on the room

Pleasant staff, ready to help. Motel rooms were nice and clean. Breakfast was fine. Hot water kettle in room was nice to have. The location was fine for us and there were a couple of restaurants near by.

There was NO running hot water in the bathroom. The wether was not warm! There seems to be a problem noticed by other guests as well. We complained and the staff did something, and ater took a long time some tepid water appeared briefly, then disappeared. We were put into another room but it was the same finally. This needs urgent fixing. We cancelled our stay on our return trip.

The hotel was very easy to find, and even though it is located on a busy street the rooms were very quiet. the facilities are very new and of very good quality. The staff was on another lever, always very nice, worried about me being able to get around town, called wher was out very late, super helpful whenever i had a request or question. they really made my stay.Other than that, compared to other places this is a very cheap place, considering how nice it is.

Very new and renewed rooms and bath. Breakfast simple but good . Includes parking also. Value and features is ok, I recommend it.
