    Pros +

    • The hotel is very nice, clean and the staff is very helpful.. the breakfast was amazing.. it’s near to all activities..
    • The staff was very nice
    • This place was so cool! Unfortunately we didn’t get to see the northern lights because of cloudy weather the entire time we were there BUT it was still fun. We walked the path over to Santa’s Village and enjoyed a day of festivities. The staff were friendly and the restaurant was great!

    Cons -

    • I hope they reduce the price
    • The bathrooms are tiny. The lighting in the bathroom is terrible. You cannot open any windows for fresh air.
    • Though it was a room with a kitchen, very few utensils were provided. All cutleries but no knife. It's just a small pan and tea pot. Maybe good for boiling noodles, eggs, and pasta. For one night's stay, it was ok. But the whole purpose gets lost if you are there for a few nights and think you can cook yourself as you are booking a room with a kitchen.

Clean atmosphere and surroundings, super comfortable room , great view outside, creative glass/treehouse. All sorts of toiletries, bathing gowns, slippers, umbrella, torch, and lots of towels were provided too. A beautiful bunk bed was there too.Extremely good staff. Kind, cooperative, and at our service. A car drops and picks up from the treehouse and vice versa.Lavish breakfast and customised service . Staff coming and inquiring if we needed something. It was season end, with very few guests still the staff was attending us and made customized food, even with the lavish buffet breakfast. Rakas restaurant ❤️?We got an early check-in and late check out. Thanks to Elisabetta, Sofia, Krystal, Buddhini, Theo, Habib, and the restaurant personnel. Will surely visit again ?

We visited on our way to North Lapland. It was very end of the season but everything was still on full steam, restaurant, breakfast, room service: no problems.

To be fair, in our pet cabin we still found snacks from the previous resident so cleaning must of been a little quick but other than this no other complaints!

Lovely rooms and great view. Great location if you are okay with staying a little away from the town on the mountain side. Nice breakfast. Limited options but Tasty dinner. Very helpful and smiling staff. I was lucky enough to experience strong Northern lights right from the comfort of my room.

Hotel staff were unable to switch off the road and bright lights when the auroras were visible.

The room was very nice but too expensive for the size of it. It was very small that when we had to set the two suitcases on the ground it was very difficult to walk around them. The views were exceptional from the room. The breakfast was very good. The selection of pastries was delicious and I asked for an omelette they provided.

The size of the rooms are very small.

    The location was good

The room was INCREDIBLE BAD value. A room and bathroom that small for that amount is highway robbery.

Location, views, food in restaurant, room interiors and the way they look from the outside, photographic hotel, very easy to access, activities are nice

Rooms are very small. Only one restaurant so you might get bored. No great place to sit and chill. It is either reception which is a very small lobby, or restaurant. This hotel needs a seperated fireplace and relaxation area, bar and a coffee place. Staff and service overall was not super, they do not go above and beyond to help you, they are just kind and nice, and applying whatever their rules/procedures are. Spa is overpriced with no special vibe/service, just skip it

Room was excellent and very well equipped for our stay. The view was simply spectacular from the large window out into the country side. Breakfast was excellent as were our other meals in the Rakas Restaurant.

    No our stay was perfect.

Amazing atmosphere and views. I like the concept of the hotel. Very tasty breakfast and restaurant.

Rooms are a little too small, also the staff at the reception is doing its job but they didn’t feel as friendly as in other 5* hotels. But most of all I was disappointed about an extra charge of 280€ for the sauna for only 2 hours. Usually the spa is always included in hotels. Especially in Lapland you want to warm up after the cold weather but paying everyday extra for sauna was not reasonable in my opinion.

    The natural setting-location.

Booked three suites, requested close proximity to each other - only two were. One suite didn’t have the welcome chocolates or shampoo provided in the other two.The plumbing in the bathroom needs attention-in need of repair.Following dinner in Rakas, found coats and hats dumped in piles on the floor rather than where they had been hung.Too many children.

Really awesome and pretty. Staff service is excellent.

There was some military exercise with the aircrafts flying by. Disruptive noises.

Exceptional comfort, cleanliness and the staff were absolutely amazing. Extremely helpful and accommodating and made sure that our stay was as easy as possible. They created such a wonderful environment that we already started to plan going back. Food in the restaurant is also the best. I highly recommend this hotel!

It was a very nice hotel! the staff were the highlight for me, they were amazing and really made this experience extra special. The hotel was beautiful and I really liked the general design and layout. Beautiful with the snow. The complimentary chocolates were beautiful and I really wish I could have purchased a larger box of these.

In honesty it's VERY overpriced for what it is and we just left feeling a bit cheated. We had to leave one of our cases in a room with reception as it wouldn't have fitted in the room. Bathroom was super small. Floodlight was left on outside the room every night, which did ruin the view - we also just found it a little contradictory, as they shut the hot water off after 30 mins to keep the 'sustainable message' and also ask you to reuse towels to save on water, but keeping flood lights on all night is ok? At over £700 a night I just don't want to rush in the shower or feel that I need to reuse a towel. Sorry to be really brutal but I think at this price point I really have to be.
