Empty minibar, no latesnack/food options, not hot enough warm water

Clean quiet and had an amazing breakfast.

Breakfast was excellent. Good atmosphere at the hotel.

The hotel is starting to get old and need renovation.

Location is good, breakfast is excellent and varied; passes to swim at Nordlys Badet were great and excellent value!

Carpet in hallways was very dirty; bathroom tiny and no working fan to ventilate; no air controls in the room; not enough towels

Lack of blackout curtains left the room quite light during the summer midnight sun season. Beds not as comfortable as they should be

very convenient location; beautiful place; interesting areas very easy to reach on foot, sometimes through forrests; less touristic than other places

The breakfast was OK, and the staff was friendly.

It struck me as weird how members of the staff waited for the serving to end to start the cleaning the second it was supposed to end. I noticed three staff members standing by breakfast items, with watches, waiting to clean it up.We werent informed that there was parking fees there. Its not a problem that you have to pay to park, but since we did our research on Scandics home page, we feel the information should have been more availiable.The hotel does not have access to a pool, in the sense that you as a guest can use a pool for a fee. Its a public pool. Using it as marketing point just feels weird since litterally everyone has access to this pool.When we arrived late at night, with a infant, most of the staff went to a back room to discuss something. We stood there with an infant and had tourist groups and workers in front of us, but no one seemed to eager to help. We also got the wrong room, so we had to change rooms. That makes the fact that we were denied a kettle to be placed in the room beforehand even more irritating.We ordered cleaning. It was never done, even though the reception had it checked of as done. We managed to make someone come and change the towels and take out the garbage.Before leaving, we requested a late check out. No one informed us that our key cards would expire even if we had late check out.There are no queen sized beds. Its all regular single sized beds. The beds slide from each other if you try to move closer to your partner.

The hotel is very central, less than 50m from the northern lights cathedral. The staff was nice and we were even able to check in before 16, which was very nice given that our flight arrived at 13. The breakfast was fantastic and offered a vast variety of foods and cuisines. The standard room however was much smaller than i imagined, which is the main reason why this was not a 10/10 stay.

Reception staff on our last day was unhelpful and seemed like it was so much of an effort to book is a bigger taxi since the app doesn't allow you to specify what size taxi you require.

Great location,. Exceptional staff, helpful and polite Great breakfast selection, nice relaxed atmosphere. Clean comfortable room, large window with great views (facing the church)

Bathroom shower is not properly designed so when you shower the whole bathroom gets flooded

Staff behavior. Did not provide any support for early check in. No lunch available. No kettle in room. Very small room for the cost I’ll not recommend

There wasn't very much privacy if you had the curtains open.

Bad

They charged me 7,20 euros the next day after i left, without a reason at all! I really want to know how and why they did this. Also the toilet when we entered was like it was never cleaned at all, but we said nothing, although it was the most expensive hotel we stayed in Norway. Breakfast was the only good thing.

The most astonishing breakfast buffet! Nice room, nice view.

I wanted to borrow the hotel bicycle more often, there really should be more than two because I had to abandon my plans when the only available man's bike was already out.

No tea or coffee in room, but not essential, Parking a little confusing as bookings .com indicate that parking is free when it is not.

Great location, huge room, amazing breakfast

Regarding it's a 4-star hotel with massive prices, the facilities are low or missing. No vanity kit in the bathroom, no iron,, the sauna& pool in another building (the problem here ar the opening hours). The gym is also there, again, cannot be used in the early morning
