Desert Palms Alice Springs

Pool was great, kids loved it. Hubby loved the Golf Course being right behind. Walking distance to a couple restaurants and the Casino. Safe for car as we were able to park right in front of our Villa.

Quiet safe area. Room had everything one needs Pool looks good, did not use it. Staff very helpful and a joy to deal with. Near restaurants.

rooms on the other hand we had to change rooms after we looked and found that it was filthy and had not been cleaned for sometime properly After moving rooms it was better

Spacious self contained unit with outdoor patio. Secure parking and good location

Having to use key tag to initiate power to Aircon. Could not keep room cool if had to leave unit for outing. Sweltering temperatures in Central Australia make walking into locked unit uncomfortable.

The room smelt like mould and the air con was undersized for the room. It was 43 degrees and took the room hours to cool down after the aircon was turned on.

The room stunk like sewage and there was mouldy food under the bed

The pool and bbq facilities are always amazing!!

The room location was good, however we did feel a little unsafe as the fences didn’t have much security on the side. Not having a spare key for the aircon to be on when we utilised the BBQ area.

Excellent place to stay. Friendly staff, comfortable bed, great bathroom, AC cooled perfectly, secure parking in front of unit.

Very poor air-conditioning. Alice Springs experiences very hot temperatures in January and the air conditioner was not up to it. The room itself was very hot. The wall radiated heat from the outside, and the air-con could not cool the room. It was also noisy. Staff should have ensured air-con was on an hour before arrival.

How crammed the beds were in the family villa. Having to wait for the room to cool down as aircon would only run with tag in slot.

The toilet roll dispensers. It was literally impossible to use,they were useless. We ended up buying our own rolls of toilet paper.

The palm trees fronds out the front of cabin made it difficult to get in and out of my car without them hitting me in the face. Had to try and manoeuvre them with one hand and other try open and close car door.
