We had a wonderful stay! We were looking for a basic, clean, and comfortable place that allowed for some cooking, and this met our needs perfectly. The location was an added bonus, just a short 5-minute walk to the stunning Tahunanui Beach! The self-check-in and check-out process was incredibly easy. Overall, it was a classic kiwi experience—relaxing and trustworthy!

WiFi is slow and not able to serve my work

Location to the airport was the main factor for choosing this motel. The facilities were dated but clean. We had all that we needed in the kitchen.

We didn't see any staff at all. There seemed to be a lot of young people hanging about doing nothing

Very nice having the kitchen space stocked with all the utensils/cookery. Great sized room and it had a sofa. Individual lights by bed and sofa were nice.

Shower pressure was pretty bad. Sofa/carpet were a bit dingy.

Accessible unit #9. A nice stand alone unit. Very roomy with basic amenities

Water pressure in the shower was low, but the handheld was a bonus.

For a family room it was pretty small and we were only 2 people. Kitchen could have had more storage. Kitchen cupboard fronts could do with a good clean. Location was good.

Stairs are quite steep for older people and children.

Spacious room, well appointed. Good location.

There is traffic noise - being on the main road - but it did not detract from our stay.

HORRIBLE WiFi. Over 3 days the fastest connection was un-usable. Slower than dialup. I think they maybe are using mobile wifi (OneNZ) not fibre. Too many guests, too little bandwidth?

The room was compact, but roomy. I felt it was a good value for money. In addition, the staff came in every several days to replace the rubbish bin.

I would have liked my towels to have been washed every few days. In addition, there was no washing machine to clean the cutlery and plates. I had to wash them by hand.

There's a p**p stain in the toilet...Then saw 1 staff who got out from our room. Probably, he thought we didn't check-in yet because there are no stuff inside. But that's a little weird.

They didn't answer my message request that I sent when I booked the room. But communication was good for where they left the key for us.

The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped Great location with easy access to nearby attractions. Would definitely recommend and stay again

It was clean and had everything we needed. We didn't see any of the staff, so can't rate them, however the communication via text/phone was good. Central to different attractions.

REALLY uncomfortable single beds. We both ended up with sore backs. Pub across the road is noisy. Kind of felt like it was being used as emergency housing to be honest. Renovations happening on Good Friday afternoon /early evening, sounded like a sander or planer, not really what you want to be listening to when you're tired and on holiday. Then later that night around 11pm a woman was going around knocking on doors. Honestly, if I hadn't prepaid, I would have left after the 2nd night.

We stayed for two nights but no one came to clean our room so we could have clean towels, clean the kitchen and make our beds but it was ok. The tv only had very limited channels like 1 2 and 3 so we ended up watching our phones and ipad.

Poor water pressure which meant it was a poor shower

Hairs through the bed, felt like I was going to fall through shower floor

The room was great and really comfy bed. Had everything I needed

The shower water pressure could've been better but hey if this was the only issue I'm not worried I would stay here again
