Waimarie on Riverside Motel & Apartments

Very friendly host, great location, spacious, quiet and clean.

Very friendly and helpful host. Lovely flower garden. Immaculately clean. Retro. Close to town centre. Quiet.

location and host and his enthusiasm for the garden.

Not a very good view.

Location, comfortable room, nice gardens, well maintained and very friendly & helpful owner

The accommodations are a short walk from town center. We were able to walk to museums, the river, shopping and even the movie theatre. The hosts are extremely welcoming and accommodating. They gave suggestions on what to do in Nelson and they provide very affordable laundry facilities.

Nothing I could complain about. The rooms are screened off from the street with hedges/flowers and therefore there really isn't a view, but there is a semi private sitting area in front of the room where you can sit and enjoy coffee.

The staff is fremdily

Wifi, eltrical plug, kitchen appliance,. I genetal needs a good restauration

Great location to walking tracks, gardens and town. Terrific host, very friendly and gave great recommendations for attractions and where to eat. Beds comfy, quiet location despite being so near roads and town. Washing, pegs and clothesline much appreciated.

The bed was super comfy, and the bathroom was very nice and modern. We had everything we needed.

We really enjoyed staying here, you can easily walk to town and the facilities were great. Really good strong shower and the new owners were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again.

Owner was super lovely, the place was clean, comfortable and location was great.

Comfortable, clean and convenient, with friendly management - just as advertised!

Npthing!

Warm friendly welcome from Kim and Wayne. Enthusiastic about their city, heplful tips about nearby eateries, supermarket, tourist attractions. Fantastic location beside the river walking/cyling path. Easy to have some timeout in a quiet relaxing environment amongst the birds and trees. ALWAYS a cheery hello when coming to and from the motel if we ran into the hosts.

Location was awesome. Staff friendly, welcoming and informative.

Things were a bit dated but renovations are underway. This didn't impact how we felt about our stay.

The place is on the centre of Nelson. Close to amenities. Really handy to go anywhere as it close by to supermarkets, park, beaches and shops

Probably the noise at night but it’s expected as the property in the city centre.

Friendly and accommodating staff. Highly recommend. Told us local places to visit. Were awesome with the room for our baby.

Excellent location, very clean, roomy apartment and friendly owner.

The property is a little dated, but that is not always bad.

Clean and tidy property, if a little dated. New owners who plan to update the motel. We were well looked after with help with luggage and umbrellas for the rain !

Our host met us promptly at the agreed time.He was very welcoming and gave us good information on the local sights to see and other local knowledge. Good value price.Comfortable bed and very clean.

Great location, quiet, super friendly, helpful people
