Comfy bed and quiet location.

The shower was difficult to use.

Very clean, tidy rooms, comfy bed, quiet despite being near main road. Easy check in and out, restaurant onsite. Heated swimming pool, parking available. Close to city and hospital

WiFi connection wasn't brilliant

Check out was at 10 and the room service started knocking the door at sharp 10. We were ready to leave but it was upsetting

Nice bar and restaurant, good little pool. Laundry facilities. Room comfortable and clean.

Only 12 channels on tv

Always great at hotel Nelson. We always stay here when in Nelson. Loved our apartment this stay and right next to the pool.

Only one suggestion. Fans for the room as the aircon didn’t quite cool the room down. And it was very warm

I really liked the hotel. The location was great, the staff was polite and helpful, and the pool area was very nice with comfortably warm water. The rooms were clean and the towels fresh. Overall, I had a good experience.

The first time I stayed, I had to ask for my room to be cleaned even though the cleaning tag was on, and they didn’t vacuum the floor. The second time, they cleaned but still didn’t vacuum. Also, I have some difficulty sleeping, and the small streets in the hotel leading to the pool and reception are very bright. The curtains don’t block enough light, so it can be hard to sleep for light-sensitive people.

Asked for disability unit, didn't get one. Parking SUV to small and not beside unit. Fridge too close to access door.Bathroom window opened to see into restraurant. Smokers ashtray beside gas bottles H&S issue. Flag pole clips rattle on pole, Not tied down tight

Very clean and comfortable room, with plenty of space. Enjoyed dinner in the restaurant too.

A bit of traffic noise on Monday morning woke us up. ( our room was near the road)Foam squabs on the sun loungers by the pool would have made my afternoons by the pool more comfortable

I was there for 10 days. There was confusion over breakfast times. The first Sunday, I was turned away at 7am and told individual guests were not permitted till 7:30. The breakfast vouchers stated weekend start times were 7am. I think greater care could have been made in informing guests about variation in start times and whether buffet is happening or not (it seems only when tour groups are there). A written notice on the reception desk about Waitangi Day is not guaranteed to reach every guest. It is classed as a four-star hotel but the tired and beaten decor makes it feel more like a motel, without kitchen facilities. No lifts in the two-story sections made it difficult for elderly guests and luggage. Or was there a lift I didn't know about? At checkout, I was not asked anything - there was no interest in how my stay had been. These are minor quibbles, but you did ask.

Comfortable beds but not lots of room

There was a patio but our view was a brick wall and a propane gas cylinder - not impressed both from aesthetics and safety point of view!!

Location was excellent and a short walk into the centre. Heaps of parking. Clean and tidy, beds were very comfortable. Loved the little seats outside on the balcony where you could enjoy a drink and watch the sunset.

A bit of confusion around checkin

Great weekend, clean, spacious one-bedroom apartment with a spa tub, friendly staff, and a handy location. Loved the on-site restaurant and pool. Would definitely stay again.

The only downside was the limited TV channels and not being able to access YouTube on the TV.

Manager Phillip was wonderful. With our difficulty with the plumbing in our original room, he helped transfer us to an upgraded room. No fuss or bother..Thank you, Phillip, for your outstanding service.

Nothing after initial problems

Pool was great. Nice to have the balcony to sit out on too.

The bathroom was a bit 'tired' although fully functional.

This place is called a Hotel, and is advertised as such. It is definitely a Motel.Breakfast was via vouchers.,with a limited value, Not a hotel buffet.Originally had 1 window with a view of a fence Moved to a 2nd floor room with pool view, that was much better, but no longer had a spa bath.Overall, lovely people, but definitely over priced motel, pretending to be a hotel.Was disappointed
