Century Park

Loved Century Park. Room was adorable and immaculate. They have a clean and efficient clothes washer and dryer for only $4 a load in the building so I caught up on laundry. The mini kitchen had everything from toaster to burner and pans, coffee machine and tea. The room even had a balcony. My favorite was its location just a short walk to the city cathedral and downtown. I walked once for dinner and once for breakfast, plus the Melrose House and Gardens are a short walk as well. And, did I mention the owner? Such a nice guy who truly cares about proving a quality experience.

The motel was conveniently located a 10 minute walk into Nelson centre. The apartment was comfortable with everything needed for a 3 night stay. My wife used the on-site laundry which was useful when you’re on a 4 week road trip. The manager/owner was very helpful and was keen to make sure that we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

Room was up a flight of stairs (not unusual in a lot of motels) which could be problematic for some people who had to carry heavy bags to their room. Having said that I’m sure assistance would have been forthcoming from the owner.

Comfortable big bed, spacious room ( the “superior” - although the standard size was quite good too), immaculately clean, nice touch to get a little fresh milk, and a brilliantly friendly welcome and warm attention from the owner/manager Harry. Easy to walk into town - eg under ten minutes to Trafalgar street with some good restaurants

Great location, within a short walk of a good selection of restaurants .Very friendly host and his son who eagerly showed us to our room and explained where all facilities were located, very polite.Everything was spotless with fabulous attention to detail in terms of what we might need.Spa bath was a nice surprise..

Friendly, helpful staff. Central location in Nelson. Well equipped kitchen and nice balcony to sit on.

The air conditioning didn’t seem cold enough but others might not find this an issue.

The presidential room was fabulous, spacious, very clean and well presented. It was wonderful for a family. The customer service was excellent.

Very nice and clean hotel in a superb location. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, and the neighborhood is quiet and pleasant. Parking is convenient, and the staff are exceptionally friendly and welcoming, always trying to go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Staff was phenomenal and accommodating, allowing me to keep my luggage there early while I backpacked a trail nearby. The WiFi was exceptional, which was very convenient for my remote work. The amenities were pleasant and the location is convenient.

Lovely motel stay and helpful friendly owner operator. I asked to switch rooms to upgrade as my error I didn’t book room with a bath and this was all no trouble and I was grateful. A Great location for sure a lovely studio perfect with all amenities and very modern. I was happy with my stay thank you.

Room was a little cramped for space. Location was not nice although was within walking distance of nice restaurants and cafes.

The heat pump was noisy at night turning on and off. (maybe needs service)Although there was a hot plate, there was no extractor fan but a notice to say you could be charged for excessive food smells .. makes any cooking difficult.

The location was great. The staff were so friendly and accommodating.

I had the grandchildren visit, had I known I would be on the second floor I would have opted for one on the ground floor. Nothing to do with the hotel. I liked everything.

Loads packed in to a small space, but very roomy bathroom and everything we needed in the kitchenette.. Handy walk in to town and theatre up the road .

An extra chair would have been nice.. while I understand it is an "accessible" room, admittedly I never thought to ask.Could do with a slightly longer shower curtain as the whole bathroom floor got very wet.

Absolutely incredible service. We arrived late due to road closures and they waited up for us to greet us. Incredibly tidy and immaculate rooms. Would definitely stay again.

Very good accommodation for our 3-night stay in Nelson. Little kitchen area was good for making breakfast and to-go lunches. Ground floor unit had a tiny outdoor space with table & chairs perfect for enjoying breakfast.

Everything was very good. Took a bit of sleuthing to work the built in dishwasher.
