The big room the huge carpark the owners are absolutely amazing they are friendly accomodating , great to have a yarn with ,very polite and super efficient. The cleaning staff are so polite exceptional at their jobs and to sum it all up i will say it was exceptionally perfect and everyone always had smiles

I had mucked up my booking due to a medicall situation. Lianne the owner was very considerate and accommodating. she did not charge me for the room that I had reserved. We ended up booking 4 nights and loved the place and the staff. The units are fully equiped , esp the kitchen. It is very clean and comfortable. It is suitably located close to Woolsworth - a short 15 min walk and about 10 mins drive to the airport. The place also has self service laundry facilities and a vending machine that dispenses goodies and laundry powder - a bonus. The place is well maintained . We highly recommend this place to travellers. This is now our go to place when passing thru Nelson !!

Friendly considerate staff and owner. Convenient location to supermarket. Facilities top grade. Well looked after and maintained. Kitchen had cooking facilities which was great.

One of the best motels in NZ. Clean, new, good location and large parking place. Kitchenette is fully equipped and, if you need something extra, they are really responsive. We felt very comfortable and stayed 3 nights.

It was located well in Nelson. We had a vehicle so we were able to drive to most places very easily. Our room was comfortable enough too. The staff were welcoming and helpful which I appreciated.

Minimal facilities for the amount we paid. No kitchenette sink, so dishes were washed in a plastic tub in the bathroom. Very minimal greenery around the motel property, mostly concrete spaces, so sitting outside was not pleasant at all. There's potential to this place.

Beds were super comfy, clean crisp sheets & duvet & comfy pillows. Couldn’t fault the comfort, light and airy, and easy access.

We didn’t have net curtains in the lounge so privacy was a bit of an issue but not a biggy.

The room was large and airy, spacious enough for our luggage and for us to still have space to relax. The location was close to town without being in the centre, which we liked. There was also a trampoline and BBQ for use, which we made some use of while we were there.

The laundry was quite expensive ($6 per wash and per dryer load) and the dryer required 2 runs to dry a single load of clothes, with some still damp. This was frustrating, but in fairness, I forgot to mention it to the staff before we checked out, too.

Well kept and comfortable rooms.

Needed a couple of hooks in the bathroom to hang robe, etc and a shower shelf for toiletries.

1) Location We stayed because the cancellation of flight. There is walkable distance to amenities.2) Motel owner/keeper offered us free lift from motel to the airport.3) Spa bath

There is no reading light. Light switch is too far from the bed.

The motel is on a corner of the highway but the noise was negligible. The man who provided a small table for our suitcase was very helpful.

There was no sheer curtain on the front window and door so there was a lack of privacy. There was no stand for our suitcase and when we asked for something we were told they had removed all tables as guests said they wanted more room. They provided a small table in the very large empty space in the room.
