Tuscany Gardens Motor Lodge

The location is perfect, a very short trip from the airport. The motel unit was so clean and tidy and the shower was incredible. The staff member who greeted me was so friendly. I will definitely be booking here again.

Great place to stay. The bed was so comfortable, good sized room with a great view from the balcony. Only a short walk away from cafes and bars, and very handy to the beautiful Tahunanui beach area.

No air conditioning,No tv in bedroom and shower very hard to control was either very hot or cold and water to vanity got warm to hot when turned to cold water.The milk curdled after one day and received another from office and that curdled as well.

Central and close to beaches and town. Had everything you needed. Loved that it had Aircon

Spa bath didn't work and we didn't try it until the last night so would have been a nice treat but everything else was prefect

This is the worst motel we have ever stayed in.Road noise was horrendous, continuous day and night had little sleep, bed mattress provided no support it needs to be replaced. To make things worst there was an infestation of ants in the kitchen and bathroom areas. All the above not acceptable for $270 a night motel.Raised these concerns with manager but response showed contempt for us a guests.Check in time was 2pm, after waiting for 20 mins finally found someone at 2.30pm who would check us in.

Location was excellent. Being a small complex it never seemed crowded even though it had full occupancy. Studio unit had plenty of room. This is the second time we have stayed there so obvious we were well satisfied the first gime

Fantastic location. Room was very clean and nicely updated. Can walk to beach and everything we desired. Fab restaurants and pub short walk down the road. Hot Rock Gourmet Pizza was amazing service and fresh food.

Found it very expensive for what you get but it seems in line with seasonal rates. Could do with a better mattress and some double glazing to cut down traffic noise. Traffic noise is quite significant even with ear plugs. A bit of sound proofing and it would be golden.

Bare minimum crockery etc, traffic made it difficult to get onto the premises - possibly more impacted by night roadworks. Not much space for one each medium size bag for two people. More expensive than other similar units we stayed in elsewhere in the country.

Location was great, staff were really friendly and helpful, motel was VERY clean.

I'm unsure but think I recall seeing there was an oven in the unit, but it was locked and not able to be used (this needs to be made clear when booking). We couldn't cook meals as we had intended to this cost us more in purchasing food. There was no way to grill something we needed to, and no frying pan to lightly fry it instead. There was no chopping board to cut ingredients for a salad, and no sharp knife either (only a bread knife). We felt a bit too dependant on the staff for access to the laundry (was often locked), which we can tend to feel as if we are being a nuisance.

Great studio that is well equipped. Our room had a lovely outdoor courtyard area. The owners were very helpful and accommodating. The location was only a short walk to a good variety and food and drink options, and close to the beach.

The bed was not all that comfy (could feel the springs), so the mattress is in likely in need of an upgrade. The bathroom seemed to flood very easily from the shower. We had to use quite a few towels to not slip over and then was a bit unpleasant walking on a wet floor.
