great spot just out of nelson.lots of shops,supermarkets etc very close, loved the rubber ducky on the sink :-)

the pub over the road was very loud and till late, however it was a friday/saturday so to be expected

Good location, traveling without car and bus stop right there. The service, Nelson Taxi was available always and so wonderful. Everything I needed was nearby, such as groceries. Good cafés, a beautiful park. The folks who run the place were so attentive and friendly and chill. I could totally make a meal in my room based on what they provided.

As I planned my stay from far away, it wasn’t as easy for me to get into Abel Tasman. But Derek did his best to hook me up with the buses to get there.!!!! I guess I’m saying having a car and getting to able Tasman is easier than a bus

Propriortors Derek and Mark were very friendly. They made our stay comfortable and easy to move in...a day early. Morning coffee was nice and treats were very nice. Rooms are clean and airy. Comfortable beds. Rooms seem to be upgraded. We had everything we needed. Nice view of the mountains.

There was loud music from a pub across the street on a Saturday night. If we were younger, we would have joined in. We mentioned it to Derek and so he moved us to a quieter room for the following night. However, it was a much smaller room, and we were used to the more spacious room that we had. If our stay was longer, I would have requested to return to the original bigger room.

A most enjoyable stay was had by us. Staff were super friendly and helpful. The spa studio was very comfortable and well thought out.Location was very handy indeed

The room was a bit small, most noticeably the space between bed and kitchenette.There could be a bit of road noise at busier times of the day with the windows open, to be expected though given the handy location.Either way, we would stay again.

I loved all the extra details, lego flowers, rubber ducky, hair dryer was not just a standard one, Make up remover, shower water pressure was amazing, the extra area in wardrobe for iron and ironing board.

Super comfortable bed and a proper feather blanket for a great sleep. Kitchen had everything I needed and the set up with bench seat & stool made it easy to work from. Shower has excellent water pressure which is a real bonus. The host was friendly and helpful (especially when I accidentally locked my key in) and I'd recommend to anyone.

Derek & Mark were very friendly and willing to assist with any information we needed. Units were clean and had all the basics we needed. Units are centrally located to the main Stoke retail area and handy to the town of Richmond & Nelson City.

Excellent value for money. Expected a generic motel room but the space felt like it had been prepared with genuine care and love. Appreciated the host’s proactive communication as we didn’t know exactly when we would arrive after a hike. Little out of town but to be expected for the very affordable price. Would recommend as a comfortable base for exploring Nelson & surrounds.

Found the owner very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and decorated very nice, Bed was very comfortable. Would definitely recommend staying here and would also be staying there again next time we go to Nelson.

Located in Stoke, it is easier if you have a car (free off street parking). Derek is a friendly and accommodating host. The rooms, while small, have everything you need for a comfortable stay. Highly recommend and I'll stay again when next coming through for business

The location was perfect for us attending a wedding and other activities near by in Richmond, Monaco and Marsden areas. Comfortable room with good furniture to optimise the space. Kitchenette was compact but functional, great for easy breakfast and lunch. Furnishings comfortable and relaxing colours. Easy to find and parking was good.

The location was perfect close to transport, shopping centre and relatives we were visiting within walking distance. Loved the view from our window
