Cramped room and a very high ladder

Stay away unless the only other option is the street

Horrible smell. Poorly maintained, this place should be a 2 star place in Kabul not in New Zealand

The location, easy on street parking, beds were very clean and comfortable

I booked an all girls dorm and when I woke up there was also a gentleman staying in the room. It wasn’t a problem for me but definitely something to be mindful of with other females guests

Location was great. Check in process was easy. Beds were comfy. Towels were provided. Kitchen was a good size and well supplied.

Our bathroom door was broken (room 20). It was very noisy overnight. No staff around whatsoever.

It’s well located and quiet

There is no staff, the toilet extractor is extremely noisy and the room had some remaining hair from previous guest.

The staff were super nice and the accommodation was comfortable and clean. The location was so convenient to access everything you might want and was really quiet at night. This was a friendly and social place, but not a party hostel (perfect for me).

Nothing that wouldn't be the same at most hostels - like using a shower or the kitchen after someone who doesn't clean up after themselves. But most other guests were really respectful and staff did a good clean of the bathrooms and kitchen every day.

The staff are really friendly and welcoming! Also, the kitchen and outdoor space are great and the hostel is located very centrally in Nelson.

The kitchen was lacking a lot of utensils, cutlery and mugs for the number of guests. The wifi was not great and kept disconnecting from my phone.

Cheap accomodation, central location

A little rough, but very cheap so to be somewhat expected. Was bitten by bugs in bed

Location fine. Communication excellent l. Staff friendly and helpful. Kitchen needs more cutlery, cups and some sink plugs !Beds in double room were not that comfy and the room a bit small but for young travellers be fine. Very loud bathroom fan.

Clean, safe, location

Such a great hostel! Plenty of hang out spaces, love having the desktop computer, comfortable rooms.

it was super comfy, the walls are actual proper walls, ensuit was very clean and handy, good shower pressure, clean kitchen with all you need and cute environment. would happily go back!

Great location, so close to a bus station, super convenient, one of the main reasons I decided to stay there. Kitchen well equipped and practical. Room very functional.

Noise from the outside, some alarm and very noisy bathroom fan - even when I switch off mine light & fan, I can hear others used in neighbouring rooms.

Really enjoyed my stay thank you! And very dog friendly. My dog enjoyed making friends with some of the guests. Great location just a walk away from most things.

Nice little hostel with great facilities - huge kitchen, nice dining space and outdoor seating area. the location was fantastic, right over the road from the bus interchange. It was great that we could leave our extra luggage at no cost while walking the Abel Tasman Track. (A bit extra to leave bags if you're not returning.)

The single rooms at the front above the street were poorly insulated and very hot and noisy, with other guests sitting outside on the street to keep socialising after quiet time. We had a room at the back on the return trip, which was much better, although a bed with a bedhead or a wall would be great in the twin rooms. It's hard to sit up and read if you don't get the bed against the wall.

Close to town and had everything in walking distance.

I wish the bunks had curtains to separate the beds

Couldn’t shower think it was meant for a child and the water pressure was terrible

Disappointing

Shared bathrooms were filthy and not stocked with toilet paper, rubbish bins overflowing. Understand this is a hostel, but some modicum of cleanliness is required.

Good quality towels. Shower had good pressure. Uncomfortable bed with a bathroom that was not clean, walls had dirty marks and the basin sink tap had something on the faucet. There was something wrapped in toilet paper put in the corner of the room.
