Manor House Accommodation

low price

nah

wasn’t terrible

wifi didn’t work at all in the upper floor, and there wasn’t any AC in the rooms as advertised. The location was slightly out of town but not too bad

The house is architecturally nice looking, with beautiful staircase and light fixtures in the TV room and hall way. We were very pleased to have a room of our own.

Everything seemed to be broken. The fridge leaked like it was raining. ( no one thought to put a bowl under the leak and empty it each day). Instead they just put towels at the base to be continually mopping it up useless, and it means the water all over everyone's food. The laundry has 1 washing machine that works and 1 dryer for the whole place. Total of 3 toilets for all the rooms, and 3 showers. The showers are terribly leaky all over the floor, and onto the carpet in the hallway. One of the fire exits upstairs is through another bedroom, and it was difficult to keep the smoke stop door on the top floor shut, as people kept wedging it open. The listing is that it is accessible on ground floor, but they forgot to add that there are 11 steps to the front door and at 2 steps to the back door. This is NOT an accessible place. The window in the upstairs toilet is not allowed to be opened. It is such a pity that no one cares about this place, as it has such a lot of stylish features.

Kind staff who gave us a tour.It was warm and clean and convenient.

I was happy overall

The location of the hotel is very good, it is right in the center of the city and you can walk to some famous attractions or museums.

Their facilities are old and the hygiene is so bad that the hotel really needs a major overhaul. And the photos they provided must be from a long time ago.

Only the location was good

The room was so messed up and smelly and dirty. It was a shared bunk and the other 2 guests had occupied entire room and had their stuff all over the floor. Tissue papers, liquor bottles, pizza boxes all thrown on the floor. The staff said will inform and get it cleaned but nothing happened.Door handle was broken, bathroom tap was broken, building in a very bad state, high time to very it repaired. For the price we paid we expected minimal decent place.

I like staff are very friendly and we felt welcome by them.

The driveway has some holes to be filled in order for any vehicle to drive through, especially when having luggage as it is too long and high to walk up and down.

I wish I could have stayed longer! A old house with charm, it felt like home the staff helped Carry my luggage down to the bus (thank you)breakfast was a bonus and the manor family were the sweetest i hope to stop back on my way back through

Nothing ?

Amazing place all round. Loved the homely atmosphere. Very family orientated vibe about the place. Close to city centre and the nearest supermarket was close by. The host family and staff were all amazing and so helpful with any questions we had. Would definitely recommend Manor House and will definitely be returning in the future. Thanks guys for an amazing stay

The kitchen was super organized and clean. Bathroom as well.I booked single bed in a 6 bed dorm for my friend and myself and we were extremely happy because they gave us a private room! Thanks for that! Check in check out was easy

they staffs are friendly, location is good, good space and price is good.

For that price, they have done well

A very cosy backpackers , warm, clean and comfortable .

We were glad to have our own private room with a locking door. The bathrooms were relatively clean when we arrived, and the TV with channels in our room was appreciated. Staff were helpful in giving us a tour.

Unfortunately, we stayed on the same night as 20 very drunk students, and the walls were quite thin as well as creaky floors, so the noise level was not ideal. There was some rubbish e.g. tissues under the bed which was not ours.

Perfect location!

just two toilets, old built but everything worked

The house is classic and beautiful. The double room is comfortable too.

The kitchen is a bit messy. And there is not enough hot water for bath on the day we are staying here.

Free breakfast provided every morning, the staff was really helpful. The location is not far from the city.

the cleanliness could be improved. i couldn't sleep well due to the snoring sound at night.

Location was good

There was a rat in the ceiling. The bed was hard. The room that was advertised was not the room I got. The other residents were noisyThe TV kept turning off on its own and the sound kept cutting out

Clean

We stayed in a shared room, my friend and I were on a bunk bed and the bed fell on my friend, breaking her forehead and hitting her head, we left 2 days before finishing the reservation, we asked if they could give us our money back and they said yes, but we still haven't received anything.

Good spacious room with comfortable beds. The kitchen was well-equipped, and good laundry (washing & drying) facilities on site. The staff were very helpful with moving our luggage from the car into the accommodation, and when we were in a pinch due to a flat car battery, they helped us get it back up and running!

The showers are shared between all genders. There is quite a steep hill to access the property and we didn't want to risk scratching our rental car, so we parked across the street.
