Great location, good breakfast.

Lacking something on arrival..guy at desk was nice but no real energy in foyer bar etc.
Service of our room wasn't hood enough. Sheets not changed and bed not fully made when you pulled back the duvet.
Beautiful Garden, comfortable room, great location
Wide range for breakfast loved the grounds. Good parking. Mini kitchen.
Loud bang at night.
Comfortable room and bed. Near botanic garden. Good breakfast. Pleasant staff.
It is very dated, the king size rooms seem to vary in size and facilities. Our first room was overlooked by reception had only one bedside cabinet and no reading lamp. Carpets old and grubby the entire hotel is dated and needs an upgrade. Travel Lodge in UK is far more up market and cost a lot less.
Grubby shower with mold, old dated furnishing, lack of bedside cabinets and reading lamps.
Beautiful gardens around the motel and outside the window of our room
The corridor smelled musty. Everything else was fine.
Clean and generous sized rooms.Handy location across from the lovely botanical gardens and easy access to main roads too without being too noisy. Fabulous breakfast. Friendly reception staff.
Had a big 2 bedroom room, very spacious.
Breakfast buffet had been pretty cleaned out by the time we got there but they were fairly quick about cooking more food for us.
Great location, great facilities in room, comfortable and easy parking. All staff were fabulous, very friendly and helpful. Restaurant food was delicious!
Problem with the toilet flushing.
Our room was clean and inviting, the outlook to the garden pleasant. There was a buffet style breakfast with a good selection. Coffee facility not working, but barista happy to provide us. Our dinners are enjoyable. Staff obliging and friendly.
Weirdly the sheets - I wondered if they were 100% cotton?
A reliable place to stay, clean and comfortable with friendly staff
Friendly staff from the moment we arrived. Our sons wedding was lovely and staff were on hand when it started to rain to get us all back inside... meals were amazing, breakfast good selection and again staff wonderful. We usually stay somewhere else, but this will be our new venue when we come to Dunedin.
We loved everything about our stay - The Lodge had a warm and welcoming feel. The staff were great. The room was stylish and spacious with a very comfortable bed, and the view of the extensive garden was beautiful. We forgot a full buffet breakfast was included, so that was a real bonus - as was the free parking and laundry facilities. The location was also excellent - just across the road from the botanic gardens or a short drive into the city.
That we had to leave!
Location, great breakfast, large room, & bathroom and very friendly staff. We arrived late and still someone at Reception to greet us.
Room temperature was quite warm...but easily opened up a window. Parking was limited but then we arrived late.
Great location , friendly & helpful staff , nothing was a problem ! Allowed us to check in an hour earlier so we could shower & change for a pre graduation function that started at 2 pm .
Found that with no extractor fan in the bathroom the bathroom steamed up all the time
The bed was very comfortable. The staff were lovely.
The shower is not good. The tiling and grout is old and grotty. It makes using the bathroom unpleasant and water comes out of the shower there has been a piece of wood to stop it going onto the carpet.
The staff were exceptional, very helpful and went out of their way to please. The breakfast was very good and they brought food to the table for my visually impaired husband after his eye surgery.
I had too go elsewhere for dinner. The menu was limited for me. I am vegetarian and glutten free so had to leave the hotel to pick up a takeaway from a nearby restaurant.
