Would be awesome if you could have a guidebook in english and portuguese that explain different attractions in the area. We signed up for a trip out to recife de fora, but it was difficult to understand the attraction, the schedule, and the costs. we asked questions via whatsapp but did not get a response. We ended up signing up but went to the wrong location and almost missed the boat and it was not clear how payment worked. Also, although the local government started to cleanup the area after we arrived and they did invest in pretty lights for Christmas, in general they do not have a very good periodic maintenance program for common areas in the town and nearby and sufficient people keeping things repaired and clean. The sidewalks near the hotel were often cracked or broken. The park across the street with a beautiful view of the ocean was overgrown with weeds rather than well taken care of. The paint used in common areas was often very chipped and low quality. The sidewalks were sometimes uneven and easy to trip on at night. The roads had many potholes that remained unrepaired. The roads were often very uneven. We saw a lot of people just throw trash in the street like they did not care. There was a lot of trash around and very limited trash cans. There were many speed bumps but many were not painted clearly yellow and did not have signs so it was easy to miss them. Streets were not consistently well lit at night and did not always feel very safe. It was difficult to safely cross the road (maybe a stop light or a pedestrian light would help). Maybe if the hotels/restaurants/businesses in the area met with the local government they could find a way to get the area more ready and welcoming and safe for tourists?It is such a beautiful area. It just needs to be taken care of a little better.

Very good experience. Hotel with a good structure, a food menu with good variety and price, and a very friendly staff.

On rainy days it would be good to have swimming pools a little hotter.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the breakfast buffet and the pool area.

Broken air conditioning at 2am at my arrival! This was resolved by putting me in another roomBut the reception staff was very disrespectful & disappointing! At my check out I said that I’ve arrived at 2am and didn’t consume anything at the room! They asked me to wait & sent someone to check the room! Then said I have consumed 2 waters and wanted to charge me! But didn’t I say “I didn’t consume anything!?”Asked me to wait again and sent the guy again to the room! Totally ridiculous approach and not a single apology! I didn’t stay in a high price hotel to steal 2 bottles of water!Totally unacceptable

I found the location to be very convenient, as it's close to both downtown and the airport. The room was spacious, and the breakfast was quite good, especially the tapioca. The pool area is really lovely. Unfortunately, I was only able to stay for one night, which meant I missed out on fully enjoying the hotel’s amenities.

It was a one night stay so we wanted something close to airport. Located very close to the main part of the nightlife area without the noise. Check in staff super friendly and helpful.

Pretty much empty but due to low season. A bid dated. No elevator which was ok for us but maybe older people or larger families would struggle to transport baggage.

The location was good

Bad smell in the bathroom. I asked to change the room ….They offered a downgrade room. The showers door did not close. So to take a shower you must hold the door with one hand. This is unacceptable for a Best Western hotel

The hotel has excellent facilities, including an impressive pool and a well-equipped gym. The breakfast was amazing, while the proximity to the beach and the main shopping area made the location excellent. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. We are already looking forward to stay there again.

4 star hotel but seasoned, in need of a refurbishment. Good location for a walk to the city.

Seasoned. Hotel claims to be at the beach but in fact there is a street in between and no real beach do the hotel.

The hotel looks just like the photos. Spacious, clean, staff is friendly and professional. Surrounded by vegetation. Gym, game room, outdoor walking area. Lots of tables with chairs outside. If arriving before check-in time and the room isn't ready, they will let you use the pool and other facilities, as well as wifi. Room and bathroom were very spacious. Would be good value for families or couples. Lots of selection for breakfast. The hotel isn't actually on the beach, the ocean is across the road but to get to the beach is not right there. City tourist area with restaurants and shops is also a few minutes away.Super close to the airport, less than 10 minutes by Uber.Anyway, to sum up - be aware of the forementioned caveats and it will be an enjoyable stay.

I wish there was a water cooler with drinking water available at all hours. I know you provide 2 bottles for free, but it's not enough. And water isn't that expensive. Also would be nice if you provided coffee with real milk early in the morning. I have trouble sleeping and if I wake up at 4am and can't sleep it would be nice to have a cup of coffee. I know you provide coffee for the coffee maker in the room, but by then I drank all the water, and then there is no real milk, only the dry milk, which is not the same. Small things but they lower the overall impression of the property.

The hotel is very clean, the staff is really friendly and welcoming, breakfast is superb, the pool was also really cool with an artificial waterfall.

The restaurant really lacked options and I didn't think that the prices were fair. That being said, at least the portions were generous.

The garden and pool area is lovely... with a good sized pool. The garden is very well looked after and the whole hotel has some good areas for sitting and relaxing. Good food is served there with great friendly service. The 'sauna' is actually a 'steam room' but is very hot and works great. I stayed at 4 other locations not too far from that area during my visit... and this hotel had considerally less mosquitoes... barely any. I think whatever they're doing to deal with them is working very well - was really impressed by that! Good reliable wifi which seemed to work in all outside areas too.
