Pros +
- Location very good didn't hear road noise. Shower very good toilets clean.I would stay again
- Very comfortable and staff was so nice
- Reasonable location, this is a camping ground offering the basic facilities and services, somewhere to rest before moving on.
Cons -
- All good
- The bathrooms and showers could use a little more attention
- Contact and communication with the management as the main phone line and emails go unanswered the only way I could make contact was after I arrived and obtained the managers mobile number from a note on the door.Very disappointing as I needed to contact the office prior to arriving. Even the booking Agencey could not contact them.

The proximity of the accommodation to the Conference we were attending was impressive. .The bed was comfortable and had clean sheets and pillow cases but no electric blanket . The staff member was obliging and friendly, although we weren't offered fresh towels after our first night.
It would seem it's been a while since maintenance on the cabins was upgraded. The top half of the smoke alarm was missing, and also a lightbulb needed replaced.Behind the toilet was leaking water.
Location was good. Overall visual appeal is pretty low. Quite an old camp.
Nothing that can be helped but old mate in the room next to me was on his ph till 11:30pm then turned his radio on lol. Rooms are Not very sound proof. Good one everyone was asleep.
NA
We had 2 separate cabins, 2 of the 3 beds in the cabins had hairs under the sheets.
My wife regularly stays here when she travels down from Nelson to Invercargill to visit her dad.Nice central place to stay and good value for money.
Friendly staff.Although it was filthy, cabin was warm and dry.
Honestly, it looked like there was some effort being made - the toilets and basins were clean and the kitchen was well stocked but everything else was filthy. Our cabin was disgusting and bunks well and truly need replacing.Three visits from police the second night due to a couple having a very loud, profane arguement. Think one visit included dogs and a search for a hidden knife. Obviously management weren’t at fault here.I absolutely would not recommend taking children here and would avoid the place altogether if possible.
Was not impressed with the room. Did not have what I believed was advertised and ended up not staying. Room was not clean nether was the bedding
Location was fine and that's about all
Cleanliness is not acceptable, as it does feel like a rundown place. Was in the double cabin and spiders coming in, walls has dirt, ceiling has spider webs and the dust on the tv was already the limit. But then u will see the sticky dust on the bed side lamb and some leftover sauce stuck on the table. Will not be going back. Was worried if there were bed bugs/spiders dropping on you in the middle of the night. Animal fur was all over the curtains. Kitchen had amenities sufficient to use but again overall looks very rundown. The toilet were usable but also needs a proper clean. The chemicals used for the mirror were incorrect and/or using a damp cloth¿ to wipe the mirrors isn't the best of choice. Location was good but the siren was going all night making me wondering if it is even safe. Everything was questionable. And to be fair it wasn't value for money for this level of hygiene.
don’t feel clean at all room was cold heater smelt like it was burning when turned on
We were greeted by a beautiful white cat that made us feel welcomed and loved ? ? This place has everything that you need for a camp site. A kitchen that is spacious with all the amenities, Women's and men's separate toilets and showers that are clean. Our room was nice and cozy with a car parking space right outside our room., We would definitely come back here in the future. The staff member is very kind and helpful.
Bearing in mind this is budget accommodation, $70 for a double bed with sheets, it's great value.
The room was simple but had everything we needed. Good value for money. Facilities at the park were good, well equipped kitchen, comfy sofas etc. Staff were really nice and welcoming :)
Not a lot, in fact nothing
Very old, dark and musty. The wallpaper was peeling off, carpet old, dirty and damp around the fridge, shower curtain dirty, steps and deck unsafe and rotten, walls thin between units.Totally not worth staying in this ensuite cabin
Friendly staff. Booked quite late in a bit of an emergency and we got a unit OK. Beds were comfortable and juts what we need for a single night.
Overall the place is looking a bit dated. The kitchen area was fine, but a bit lacking in some things - no bowls for example, so I couldn't easily make cereal for breakfast.
Location and price were good.
Utensils in kitchen were dirty & unhygienic. Staff person wasn't available most of the time.
Lose walk to centre of town
Place was a little run down. Could do with a freshen up.
Was easy ish to find
Room was not clean, dirty dishes put with clean 1s. Toilet had poos in it not flushed when we 1st got there, was spider webs in the room and the shower curtain hald mold on it, the curtains in the room had dirty food marks on them. Didn't smell clean. Steps to get to the door where wood and slippery and 1 of the steps was broken
Good location and price
City campgrounds are always tricky. Funky smell in the kitchen/ dining area. Needed to wash plates and cups before use
