Balmoral Lodge Motel

That it exceeded our expectations and the price

Very convenient..good comfortable beds. Easy check in. Functional kitchen

Only cold water for washing.clothes

Great welcome at reception.Able to supply 2 fans for the hot weather.Spacious, clean and well equipped unit.

The space was decent and the staff very friendly. They were even willing to hold onto my luggage while I was away on a multi-day backpacking trip. It may have been more space than I needed as a solo traveler, but it was very useful as a remote worker.

Great location. Spacious comfortable rooms with excellent facilities.

Only the weather! (But the whole South Island was pretty bad at the time.)

Very comfortable accommodation, well appointed for an enjoyable short stay. Staff were kind and friendly and provided a cookie to go with my milk for tea provided on arrival - a lovely touch.

If I had to nitpick - at a push I'd say the bathroom was slightly dated but honestly he positives far outweigh the minimal nitpick. Value for money was really good also.

nice and easy, clean and warm on a blustery evening. lots of parking for us with the trailer.

the fridge was so noisy all night, i should of gotten up and turned it off. LOL

Room was clean and tidy spacious it exceeded my expectations.. nice and peaceful, As I had an exam the next morning so had to study. The host was lovely and friendly with a beautiful smile. Will be staying again for when I sit states thank you. A++++ Would highly recomend.

The motel was great, room was very spacious + comfortable, receptionist was helpful + welcoming, location handy to everything, definitely would stay again.

Room was warm, clean, and inviting. Generously sized and a real treat to return to each day. Book it if it's available, you won't regret it.

We really enjoyed our stay there, It was a newly refurbished apartment which was very comfort and large. We used the time to relax in the evenings after a busy day and eat in each night We also found the staff very helpful and friendly. It was very clean and the location was excellent.

Nothing to make comment on.

Very spacious motel room that was more like a two room apartment. Bedroom upstairs with lounge, kitchenette, bathroom downstairs. All the facilities are available for a comfortable stay. Laundry facilities nearby with washing machine. Dryer $2.

Very nice staff. Very obliging and helpful. Rooms were excellent. Very large and well equipped and although older style, very well cleaned. Every thing worked and free washing machine was a real bonus. Good location - absolutely nothing to complain about.

Nothing to report - would stay again if I'm back in town.

Great location and clean rooms! the staff were amazing and recommended some family friendly activities for us to do with our kids. The 2 bedroom apartment we stayed in had everything we needed and was very spacious

We loved everything I would just recommend bringing your own pillow if you like medium pillows ☺️ the pillows we had in our rooms were either flat or hard no in between.

The accommodation was very comfortable and spacious. We were not sure what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised and thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay here. It had everything we needed and definitely seems to be the choice of motel in Invercargill. Would highly recommend and stay here again.

Quiet despite being next to road. We had upstairs/mezzanine beds over lounge. Lots of space, comfortable and clean with everything we needed. The bathroom and toilet is a little aged and some soap or dispenser would have rated this higher.

Huge huge rooms. Actually a one bedroom apartment. All the cooking gear available and super comfy beds upstairs. For $156 NZ per night it is a middle of the road accommodation complex. Bones are excellent but a revamp and update is needed.

Spacious, spotlessly clean, well appointed with a complete kitchenette. Convenient to shops and supermarket. A great place to stay.

Nothing comes to mind

Property was tired and dark.Large rooms with good kitchen facilities.

Huge room! Warm and well equipped, fabulous welcome at check in.

Wifi was a little weak
