Pros +
- It was a very pleasant stay. A one-bedroom apartment. Also Have a microwave in the room. The car park is front of the room. Friendly staff. Seems like (free) laundry room.
- The rooms were warm and cosy
- We were given a lovely warm welcome and showen to our unit. The unit had everything we needed. While there was a bit of road noise during the day we didn't hear anything once asleep, first full nights sleep we had in ages. Parking was a breeze heaps of space and no wondering if your car was going to be damaged by close parking vechiles. Power points where needed plus extras. Yes I would stay here again.
Cons -
- A little bit far from town center. But all good.
- It is advertised there is Netflix but there is not. One of the reasons I picked the place was because of having kids and having Netflix keeping them occupied while we have meals and rest between adventures
- A bed side would've been nice but I suppose most people use their phone.

This is my 3rd time staying here, and I wasn't disappointed. The hosts were friendly, the room was tidy, and there was plenty of room. The WIFI was very good.
A bed side would've been nice but I suppose most people use their phone.
Location was good for our travel. The bathroom had good water pressure.
There was a draft through the glass door and windows
not very professional clean and tidy
the organized room and kitchen bathroom even tea selectionsand especially milk
I never saw the staff until I went to the office and complained about an electric blanket plug. I liked the fact it had a bed in the lounge.
The electric blanket on the single bed in room 24 was taped with black tape and the power box it was plugged into was loose. I went and got the manager, who was shocked and took the tape off to reveal loose wiring. He replaced the electric blanket with a new one and supposedly fixed the plug on the wall, however it was still loose. The plug on the high mounted wall heater was also loose and the heater made a horrific sound. The shower curtain needs replacing and the stove needs replacing as it takes forever to cook on and in it
Plenty of space to move around. The bed was very comfortable.
The decor was dated, but plenty of space. Coffee was not nice.
Electric blankets everything except the electric blankets
Needs a super big upgrade pretty run down, curtains hanging off rails ,tape patching up the corner of the wall heater on wall not going, really weren't allowed to cook to much with a scent otherwise they charge you $100 on top of your stay .
▪︎ All of my requests were met 100%.▪︎ Very affordable.▪︎ Motel staff were very kind, Helpful, respectful & assisted us when needed.▪︎ Features; My room/s only:▪︎ Accessibility was easy.▪︎ Mini Kitchenette with Jug, Tea/Coffee/Toaster, Bar Fridge.▪︎ No Cooking Facilities ie; Stove/Oven.▪︎ 1st Unit, Wet Floor Shower, 2nd Unit, Shower over Bath.Washer/Dryer Access were a Bonus.
▪︎ It was always difficult finding the motel most of the time due to the sign being blocked by over grown bushes.▪︎ When relaxing and watching TV at night it was a bit boring as there was no netflix available to watch movies.
The place was close to the city and had a kitchen. The bed was okay and we had a good sleep.
The room and bathroom were quite old. The shower couldn’t be adjusted and there wasn’t much space inside. It was a bit cold at first and we had to run the oil heater for a few hours to warm up the room.
Traffic noise Reception area is unkempt and smells musty so was surprised to find our room was pleasant.
Poor
It was dirty. There was mould on the shower floor and the stove was very clearly not even wiped down, it has grease droplets everywhere.
Clean and well equipped.
On a busy road, room shook when a truck passed.
It’s not too far from the city centre and Queenspark. Price was fair for what it offers. Shower was nice and hot.
Place needs a deepclean, especially the curtains, it’s dusty. The flat smells musty. Traffic is noisy as it’s on the main road. Limited kitchen utensils. Stove knobbs were greasy. Couch uncomfortable, you can feel the springs.
Nothing, did not stay as room was not clean
Room was not clean so we asked to be moved to another room but were told none was available. Asked for a refund which they agreed but said had to go through Booking.com. Booking.com said they couldn't get a response from the property. When we approached the property they said Booking.com had not approached them. We went back to Booking .com, who are now not responding to us.
I liked the Space - this was a full unit with separate rooms for lounge/kitchen, large bedroom, shower/toilet. Recently renovated bathroom, new carpet, fabulously soft bed and selection of pillow types, good quality linen and fluffy towels, fresh milk in the fridge, everything spotlessly clean. Location on the north side of town is 2 minutes from good restaurants aand shops in the centre of Invercargill. The rooms were warm, comfortable and clean. The manager and staff were very pleasant and had prepared the room in advance = with the beds made up like a first class hotel. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay.
Previous reviewers felt being on the main road was noisy. True outside but once the doors and windows are closed there was no sound to disturb my peace over 3 nights. Although not brand new, the buildings and grounds are well maintained.
Reasonably priced, spacious
Heaters wheels were bent and wouldn't roll very well. Iron not in good condition. Some traffic noise due to nearby main road.
Clean and tidy - everything you could need was there. Lovely large shower and good water pressure. Unit windows in need of renovation, lumpy settee and road noise significant, but ok for an economical one night stay
Old and tired. The springs were sticking out of one of the cushions and an arm broken on a club chair. Shower in bath with no mat or grab rails. A lot of road noise.
