Hosts were very welcoming. Unit was serviced every day. It was so good to be able to take our dog and she was welcomed with a treat and bowls. Thank you for the lovely stay, we will be back.

Absolutely loved our stay here. Big, clean space with all the amenities we could ever need! Parking was perfect, big spaces right outside our room. Very personal and comfortable vibe. Netflix was a nice bonus as well. Thank you Paul and Tracey ?

Great location, easy drive to town, supermarkets etc. Room was well equipped, clean and comfortable.

We loved our stay at the Moana Court Motel and would definitely recommend to others. The staff were friendly and the room was just what we were after for a quick visit down south. Even though the motel is on a main road traffic at night was quite and we didn’t hear a thing from our room. There was tea/coffee/milk/sugar provided which was also ideal before we headed out for breaky.

The shower cubicle was small. Needed to be mindful not to bump the tap to avoid unexpected changes in water temperature

Staff were great, was travelling with my mum, the room had been set up as we asked - very friendly at check in. Unit was exceptionally clean and had everything we needed for our stay.

Moana Court Motel was great value for money. It had everything we needed. Very friendly staff nothing was to much trouble. Huge super king bed.

A little far away from town if you dont have a car. There is a good coffee shop just down the road though. We had a vehicle so not a problem for us.

Close to Surrey Park (we were attending a softball tournament). Other guests were quiet (there was one team staying there). The owners were nice.

We discovered that we had paid for 4 days, not 5 days, and were informed later the afternoon when the motel thought we should have checked out. Granted, they did try to contact us, but we were too involved with the tournament. It would have been helpful during check-in to confirm the days we were staying, as this would have alerted us that we had only paid for 4 days. We may have checked out on the 4th day deciding to stay in another town to reduce our travel time back to Christchurch. It was later in the day (after 3 pm) when we found out that we had made an error, so I felt obliged to pay an extra night, which exceeded our budget. I accept this was my error, but that one action would have allowed me to consider or options.

The size of the room was very large and super clean. The small kitchen was great. We stayed one night before catching the ferry to Stewart Island.

Great service and communication! Even to dog had little treats ready on arrival! Also loved the milk in glass bottles

Good location, our motel was comfortable and had everything we needed. We had a carpark right outside our unit and we were able to store our bikes in a secure garage/laundry area on-site.
