Townsman Motor Lodge

The Superior Two Bedroom apartment was spacious and met all our needs. Easy parking and close to supermarkets.

Fab stay, the room was lovely, bed super comfy and staff friendly as usual.

A great place to stay. Lots of room, access to WIFI and comfortable beds/pillows. Plenty of off-street parking. Supermarket across the road.

Happy with everything. It might have been nice to have been given plunger coffee since the room had a plunger.

Huge double room unit ,very clean with a well equipped kitchen 5 mins walk from the city centre, plenty of parking & friendly helpful staff.

Noisy. Fridge was turned right up so food spoiled. No toilet paper. We wanted to reduce number of nights as child broke wrist but they blamed booking.com t&cs and wouldn't entertain the idea even with more than 24 hours notice.

Location was good. Size of the room was great.

Plastic roof on shower. Night roadworks.

We asked for a ground floor unit, the manager swapped things around to accommodate us. We also asked for an extra night. No problem.

Generally a spacious well located unit. Well presented.

Complete lack of accessible power outlets in bedroom.

Contemporary, clean and very comfortable units complete with good quality facilities. A very well managed complex. Convenient for Woolworths just across the road.

Nothing to dislike

A few minutes walk to town, so convenient location but on main road so you get some noise but not as much as expected which was great. Especially seeing the majority of Harley Davidson's in NZ were in town for the Burt. I was also riding (but not an HD). Overall good place to stay.

Welcoming hosts, room was clean and tidy and bed was comfortable.

We were there for Burt Munro Challenge and it was good because there were a lot of other visitors there as well and it was like a family environment.

There could have been a shelf or unit of some sort to store things in the bathroom. there was nowhere to put our toiletries as the basin top didn't have much space on it.

When I arrived I had a migraine and I was shown to my room immediately and staff very kind

Great location. Spacious rooms.

The rooms were really dark and quite cold. I couldn’t open the only curtains in the room as other guests were sitting right outside the window.

The apartment was cold, the beds were hard, had a yuk smell and felt very uncomfortable.
