Hotel Wissam

Pros +

• It was in a good location close to the market, staff were very friendly and helpful. Bed was not comfortable -and bathroom a little outdated.
• Liked: Great location, good sized room, inexpensive, friendly staff. Less enthusiastic about: Beds uncomfortable and WiFi signal close to non-existent.
• Guy in reception was very friendly and helpful. We actually checked in 3 hours early (so had no towels initially but he bought them up to us later on). Great location no more than 4 minute walk to the main medina square and very close to the Souks, however site is still very secure. Lots of food options round the corner and a couple of shops depending on the day. Also a place to book tours and print boarding passes across the street (we didnt use these so can comment on how good it is). Theres a rooftop terrace as well as inner riad social area which is very pretty. Rooms are basic no thrills, clean enough. Bathroom again is basic, only downside our big light didnt work but there was a second small one that worked. Hot water runs well and AC in the room is good. Unfortunately we had an outer room next to the street so some noise from the restaurant over the street and very loud one morning (mostly thanks to birds which the hotel cant control). Cant imagine any noise issues if you stayed in an inner room.
